Adam Clayton being forced out?

which gave a report that Adam Clayton was going to be fired and replaced by a
rodie who work with U2 during the Zooropa tour. This report is probabaly B.S.,
but I wonder if anybody else had heard this?

I haven't heard of the news that Adam Clayton will be forced out from U2.
Does this rumour have any implication on the group or is there anything wrong with
the group itself? If anyone has any latest information on this issue, please do
reply!

basically amounted to a U2 management official statement
saying NO, Adam was not leaving the band for any reason. It
went on to say that all 4 members are helping Adam's girlfriend
Naomi Campell release her first album - hmm.... should be
interesting.

Yes, this _IS_ just a rumour, nothing more. What happened was that Adam
was feeling ill the night before the big pay-per-view show so he took
the night off and one of the roadies filled in. He is not, repeat
_NOT_, leaving U2. If you want more information on this, try the
alt.music.u2 newsgroup, there's been a lot of discussion on this topic
over the past week there.

I hear some sort of "U2 Breaking up like the Beatles did" rumour every other
week.....don't believe all you hear.--Geez, that sorta sounded like "Everything
you believe is wrong", didn't it. I _must_ be a U2 fan.
