Two Quick Questions

Hi - a couple of questions for this first post:

1. Does anyone know what happened to silentsmajority.com? It's been
gone for at least a month...

2. Can anyone give me any information about the silent movie Chicago?
Do I stand a chance of finding a copy to view?

I spoke to Diane McIntyre about the Silents Majority a few weeks ago, and she
said the site would be down for major restructuring. She plans to relaunch it
sometime this summer.

Thanks for the info.

You might suggest to her that she put up one temporary page - else
she'll lose her (very good) place in the search engines and links from
other pages (not to mention the people who no longer see the site and
assume the project is defunct).

If you make an appointment and pay a reasonable fee, you can watch
CHICAGO on a film table at the UCLA Film and Television archive. Contact
them directly. I'm working on trying to get a showing near Douglass
Kansas (Phyllis Haver's home town) but please don't hold your breath,
it's anyone's guess whether the theater will be interested... believe
me, I'll post it if it comes through.
