Last week I posted a message on this newsgroup about some space legos I
was looking to get a estimate of worth on. I have decided, due to the
interest that post generated, to do a online auction.
I will set a first bid date by which all first bids must be into me by. I
will then see what the highest bid is and will let you all know, so you
have a chance to up your offer, by a set date. After the second round I
will then again let you know the highest bid so you may make a counter
offer. And so on. I am in no rush to sell these, so the bidding can run
it's natural course.
I think this is a fair way of going about this. Please keep these "rules"
in mind when bidding:
1) bid on the whole collection, I will not be selling this in pieces.
2) Bidder must pay postage on top of bid price
3) Bidder must live in USA OR have a address in the USA to which package
can be shipped. I will NOT ship internationally (this includes Canada).
All first bids are due by Friday, August 26 at 5:00pm EST. I will then
take the weekend to sort
through the bids and see what is what.
Here is the list of sets I have, so you know what you are
bidding on. All sets do have the instructions for them and, as far as I
know, all the pieces as well (I have kept these in fairly good shape).
6848
6847
6901
462 Rocket Launcher
6842
6870
6872
6823 (I have two sets of directions for these, so I assume I have two of
these)
6822
6805
6801
6825
6931
6952
6985
6970
If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to
write me and let
me know. Otherwise, I hope to see all interested peoples bids in by this
Friday, August 26, by 5:00pm. Take care
Debbie A. Aziz, az...@iia.org or Lib...@aol.com
PS, please send all bids to the iia.org address and NOT the AOL address

I don't have the names I'm afraid (except for the Rocket Launcher). I
don't have the boxes anymore, only the instructions and on the
instructions they give only the set number and not the name. I also don't
know the prices b/c most of them were gifts and so I wasn't supposed to
know that kind of thing :).

Ok! Point taken. I've had no problems shipping LEGO around the world.
