O.K heres the deal. I have recently taken up the task of reviving the
Amiga 2000 in the computer lab of my school. It has a 40 meg hd (I think,
it may be 80 can't remember), 4 megs of ram, 1.3 operating system, Amax
(the original one) and we think some sort of PC emulator. I have not spent
a whole lot of time with it.
The question is exactly what do I need to do to put it on our
network. I have asked various computer labs god types and they all say
that I need an Ethernet card. Problem is that after perusing Amiga World I
could find none.
I am sure this has already been discussed so if you feel it would
be a bother for others to read the responses just mail them to me directly.
All I really need to know is where I can get an Ethernet card but any other
pointers you throw in would be appreciated
thanx

You need an Ethernet card and some software. I'll assume you need TCP/IP.

You can get the Commodore Ethernet card (A2065), and the Commodore TCP/IP
software (AS225). These should be available from any Amiga dealer, and likely
also mail-order. The AS225 software will still be version 1.0, an upgrade is
in the making.
Willy.
