All of the below is from a thread in another newsgroup.
What I am wondering from this group (since I know there are a couple of
folks on here from Jersey) is this Clem Moorman who plays at Solari's in
Hackensack possibly the same one who played on these 194 Savoy sessions by
Buddy Banks Trio (even though it appears there is no Bunny Banks
and the band isn't a trio??).

Here's the info on SOLARI'S -- Clem Moorman, 5 p.m. Wednesdays; Spectrum,
8:30 p.m. Thursdays. 61 River St., Hackensack. (201)487-1969.

Rhythm and Blues song from 1943. The information I have is as follows:

Song Title: Don't Stop Now
Artist: Bunny Banks Trio
Label: Savoy Records
Year: 1943

If you can help me verify the information I have or help me locate a copy of
the song, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you,

Here is what Tony found:
<<It was the 8th best selling R&B record of that year...thats before there
was such a thing as R&B records...they were called Race Records then.
Lets have a look at the Savoy discog...just a tick......
Ah, It was cut in 1942, with Bonnie Davis on vocals, Clem Moorman, pno,
Ernie Ransom gtr, Henry Padgett, bass. It appeared on Savoy 102, 5550 and
5519.

This outfit cut 13 sides at their first session for Savoy in 1942, including
the flip of the song mentioned called "Paratroop Boogie". No mention of who
Bunny Banks was, or what inst. he played - weird huh?
Never seen it reissued.
