The song is an important anthem for peace. It was originally written and
released as a protest against the Vietnam War. The message of the song
is now as important and relevant as ever. . ("...broken soldiers going
through the motions...blame it on the system, no one ever listens,
everybody wants to be a politician...")
Musicians on the record include members of the Blue Riddim Band and Ron
Rhoades ("Shakers"). The tune has been performed by other bands
including UB 40. Both ReMix and Dub versions are available.
