...and don't forget Susanna Hoffs! Funny thing, last summer when I saw
Matt Sweet play here, he didn't do "BBC" - but Karl Wallinger and his
mates in World Party did. Karl said they'd been watching Austin Powers
a lot on their tour bus, so one night he surprised the rest of the band
by ripping into "BBC" on stage...and it became part of their set! Not
much to the song itself, basically 3 chords: D, A, E

Play D - D - A - A - E before each line of verse,
guitar tacit during lyics

(The same chord pattern above continues through the chorus,
with a bit more instrumental frenzy)

as for a suitably mod lead during the chorus, you can play
a couple notes on one string, sliding the D note up to E,

Thanks "Jim in Cleveland" for posting a reply to my request. The chords you
put up seem right.....i was messin round with similar chords for BBC one
night it wasnt totally right....well now im cool!
