Audigy 2 not compatable with earlier Toslink products.

On the Creative Labs newsgroup, Harvey Fong (Technical Marketing Specialist)
for Creative has confirmed that the new Audigy 2 card uses a different pin
configuration than the Live/Audigy 1 products.

This means that if you have a "Live Drive" or other product for Optical Out
for your Creative Labs product such as the Hoontech, it will not work with
the new Audigy 2. So you will need to buy the Platinum version of the
Audigy 2 in order to record in real time.

Also confirmed is that although the Audigy 1 will continue, both the Audigy
Platinum and Platinum EX will be eventually replaced by the Audigy 2
products.
