Inquiry re above subject that was developed by Dr. Aaron Filler, Professor
and Neuro-Surgeon at UCLA. This new MRI machine is one of two in the
entire
country. The other being in Washington state. The sensitivity of this
MRI
has been described as revolutionary in the radiology field tracking nerve
roots
and identifying locations of pain that cannot be seen on the ordinary MRI.
Does anyone have anymore info about this and also if a patient has
instruments
implanted (non-magnetic), can the procedure still be accurate ? Dr.
Filler was
recently on the news program with Peter Jennings describing this machine.
I did not see the program.
