Scholum (Sholem) and Bibo Famiies

I am descended from a long line of german jewish merchants. For two generations
the family has not kept the faith and I am in need of some genealogical tips.
The Bibo name is an acronym, so I am told, however, I cannot determine what it
meant originally. I cannot make an ties to the old and respected Hungarian
Bibos', nor the Bibo famly that emmigrated to New Mexico from Germany 100 years
ago.
The Scholum family is traced back to Argenschwang, Germany about 250 years and I
would appreciate any ideas for extending the family connections back earlier.
