Monday afternoon, after hearing rumors that Zero Hour will send all 30th
Century heroes to the 20th century (A likely story, I'm *sure*)... Invisible
Kid and I (Loomis) on LegionMUSH started thinking of Elseworlds ideas.
Here they are, read 'em and groan loudly:
I Kid: Rokk Krinn, playboy millionnaire, is secretly the Batman.
Lydda Jath is the enigmatic Catwoman, queen of the night.
Rokk adopts Young Kent Shakespeare as his ward.
Lar Gand, from a dying Daxam, is sent to Earth in a spaceship. He is
discovered by The Ranzzes on their farm in Kansas.
They call Mekt Ranzz, and he works at the daily planet where Tasmia
Mallor, ace reporter, works.
Young Devlin O'Ryan, cub reporter, enters an abandoned subway tunnel,
where he meets the wizard Mordru. Speaking the magic word, SHAZAM! He
is hit by a magic lightning bolt and transformed into Captain Marvel.
Dirk Morgna and Drake Burroughs are combined into the fire elemental
known as Firestorm!
Oli-3 Queen is stranded on an island and learns to use arrows...
eventually becoming Green Arrow!
Loomis: Hal Burrane is fixing his flight simulator when Starfinger Corps
member Abin Sur gives him his ring.
Dawnstar, Starhaven policewoman, travels to Earth to fight crime as
Hawkwoman with her husband Katarfire.
I Kid: Salu Digby discovers a way to turn tiny...and becomes the Atom!
Loomis: Dr. Brin Londo is working in Africa, and when he finds a special
amulet, he exchanges minds with a gorilla, becoming Londorilla!
Similarly Tenzil Kem becomes Bwahaha Beast!
All the young heroes join with a strange, unwanted girl from
Quarantine Medical Complex, Coast City, to found the Ivy League America!
I Kid: Kent Shakespeare leaves to form the Team Tartans in New York with
Plaid Lad, Crazykilt, Chameleon (who's green), and others.
Superman (really Valor) is plagued by an Imp from another dimension...
he has to force her to say Bgztl backwards to get her off his back.
Valor dies, and 4 versions come back...the young SW6 Valor clone,
Querl Dox builds a powered armor suit, a cyborg Superman who's actually
Computo, and an Eradicator (Dev-Em).
Loomis: A strange vigilante appears in Hub City... His methods brutal at
times but it's clear he's on the side of good. On his victims he leaves
his mark... the sign of the Quislet.
I Kid: Lyle Norg develops a serum which gives him the ability to turn
invisible for an hour...thus was born, Hourman!
Loomis: "Eel" Ron Karr, erstwhile criminal, is plugged by a copper on a job,
and falls into a vat of fluid... gaining the power of turning flat. He
turns straight, fighting crime as Flapjack Man, often accompanied by his
sidekick Woozy Wentim.
Lana Lang finds an ancient scarab in the abandoned factories west of
Smallville. Accidentally, she unleashes the power within and becomes
Indigo Insect Queen!
I Kid: Young Hank Hall leaves Winath, looking for adventure. He is joined by
Dawn Grainger, from Titan, and Bruce Wayne from Braal.
They save Lex Luthor from assassins, who decides to sponsor a Legion of
Super-Heroes, inspired by childhood legends of Valorboy"
Loomis: Jamm can't get anyone else to join, but he founds anyhow, the Dude
Patrol.
I Kid: Chlorophyll Kid dies in a Louisiana bayou....and becomes the
S-S-Swamp Thing.
Loomis: Elvar, Dartalon, Re-Inimage, etc... are framed, and team briefly with
Braal-Man to form the Outsiders.
I Kid: Rokk Krinn gets his back broken by Holdur....and is replaced by Jean
Pol Valley.
Loomis: J'o J'onah, Manhunter from Rimbor, is transported to Earth from Rimbor
and becomes a crimefighter.
I Kid: Larsh Hanscom, the first Starfinger of Earth, loses his position as
SF of sector 2814. His ring is given to Char Burrane, who ends up with
Vidar (aka Universo, ex-Starfinger)'s Qward Ring and becomes Char
Burrane: Warrior
Lu Durgo and Ornu Durgo are twin sisters...and both parade as the
fighting heroine, Crimson Fox.
Loomis: Condo Alrik falls into a vat of fluid (happens all the time) and
becomes the villain Chemo Kid.
Alberto Caracas, host of 'Alberto Caracas' Hot Seat' becomes The Creep.
Val Amorr dons the ancient helmet of Nabuki and becomes Doctor Feet:
Martial Artist.
Jo Nah Hex gets sent from the Wild West to the far-flung future!
Double Header gets hit by a glass full of acid and becomes Braal's
deadliest villain, Two-Head.
Anyhow, if you have any additions, feel free to post.
