As most teachers in Germany made school for me miserable and denied to
me higher education, I had to start working early. I was only about 15
years old when I got a job in a drugstore to learn the profession of a
druggist. I only once in the week attented school in German city
Regensburg, but I kept on reading on my own.

It was mainly RB's decision to make me learn that profession. I hated
it, I wanted to become a writer or an actress. I wanted to go on
stage, but RB strictly was against it. Later when I became a
Scientologist, she told me that if I would let go of Scientology, I
would have her permission to become an actress, but I was not more
interested. I had found Scientology and that was much more exciting
than stage. Some people in the city government wanted me to become a
hair dresser, a barber, (which the medical doctors were before they
called themselves medical doctors) and they wanted me to become a
beautician, but I hated the idea to touch and serve everybody with my
hands. RB's father wanted me to become a waitess in a coffeeshop,
because he liked the smell of it. In other words, everybody tried to
force me in a primitive job and nobody gave a damn as to what I
wanted.

So, I became a druggist. Working with herbs was interesting, but the
work with open chemicals was painful and dangerous, otherwise it was
stupid work selling packaged lousy products over the counter to nasty
people that came in large quantities and loved to chase me around.

Sorry, have to end it here. Somebody in the library wants to have my
computer, I have to find another one and continue with installment 23
as soon as I found one.
