Thank you, I'm glad that you find this of interest.
There are many good websites on ancient mythology
& ancient astrology, whereby a majority consensus
emerges on the prevailing distinctions between the
planetary gods & goddesses, and how they interact.
Although the author of this book is not adept at
astrology, Edgar Cayce reading excerpts which he
quotes therein are well-worth perusing. The book
is entitled "Edgar Cayce's Secrets of Astrology"
-by Kirk Nelson, ARE Press, ISBN 0-87604-420-8.
Here're a couple of fine examples of mythological

I find that studying the fundamental relationships
of the planets on the musical scales in which they
formed, is tantamount to understanding their myths,
their innate & interactive astrophysical qualities
which can be studied on astronomy-related websites,
and websites on alchemy, tarot, metaphysics, et al,
which calculation is astro-nomical, then deduction
is astro-logical. Here're a some charts which I've
developed and compiled (based on much research and
practice) over the last years which I find helpful
for references, & astrological deduction of charts,
of which only Nostradamus & Edgar Cayce are worthy
(modern) mentors for those interested in astrology.
For example this first chart dates to circa 440 AD,
and agrees 100% with Greco-Roman authorities whose
extant works date centuries BC, which in turn are
in agreement with more ancient authorities on this:

There has been a new development since I posted initially. I have been
laid off as part of workforce reduction. Saturn-Pluto are at work!!
Now I am faced with the choice of looking for a job in US or returning
to India.
Any insights on this would be helpful.

I'm looking at your natal chart again. At present, only
the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn, are closing benefic;
whereas all other planets are receding malefic. In your
natal chart, you have Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn,
Uranus & Pluto closing benefic. This means that, at the
present time, and for the immediate future, the planets
currently in radial repulsion to you are the Sun & Moon,
Venus, Saturn, and Neptune, and this means Venus, first
and foremost! But this is not to be for long, since she

Wonderful! I'm happy to hear that you & your wife
are going to stay and make a go of it here in the
states. My immediate impression was Uranus, this,
before I even looked at her chart. So here it is.
Uranus, Neptune, & Pluto are closing benefic; all other
planets are receding malefic. At present, the Sun, Moon,
Jupiter, & Saturn, are closing benefic, and thus are in
radial attraction to your wife's natal planets. As for
compatibility with your planets, Prashant, her planets
find Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn & Neptune all in
radial attraction to yours, with only Uranus and Pluto
in radial repulsion. Which is especially good since the
outer planets are less effective than the inner planets
are in this regard, and as you see, your inner planets
are--by mutual attraction to each other--happy together!
By contrast, your souljourning planet Venus repels hers,
just as her souljourning planet Uranus repels yours, so
are "competitive" in this direction. In the balance, her
Uranus is ruling in the eleventh house of her horoscope,
while yours is in the first house under ruling Mars, and
