I have been studying astrology for a couple of years now but I always have
difficulties when I'm interpreting my own solar return because I think that
I often only see what I want to see !
Can anyone give me his or her view of my 2003 solar return as I think that a
foreign move is very likely this year (my boyfriend lives in Spain,...):
moon-mars-uranus conjunction in 9th SR house with uranus ruling the 9th and
natal ASC conjunct SR 9th house cusp but I would like to have it confirmed.
An indication of timing would be very welcome as well !
The 12th house emphasis worries me a bit as well, although there are no
difficult aspects,...
My birth data =
18 June 1973, 23.47 (11:47PM), Gent, Belgium
Solar return for 2003 (location = birth location).
Many thanks in advance,
Ruth.
Jack Burton thinks you maybe should pull your piddly head out of
Uranus because the view and the stench can't be to appealing. Step
outside and try to find a boyfriend in the same country sister, also
take your 12th house and mount a freaking Stairmaster ya tubby
wollmann wanna be.

I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you
A heart worth breaking
And I've been wrong
I've been down
Into the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head
Scream
Are we having fun yet?
Yet, yet, yet, no no
Yet, yet, yet, no no
It's not like you didn't know that
I said I love you and
I swear I still do
And it must have been so bad
'Cos living with him must have
Damn near killed you.
And this is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am!"

Translation: Eddy needs more data for his cold read scam.
In other words astrology is a waste of time. The only hope of getting an
semblance of 'accuracy' is if the astrologer can actually see and speak
to you, enabling them to pepper references to your personality and other
personal facts throughout the otherwise random screed.
Othewise known as the cold read.

IOW, pay Ed in advance and submit to a cold read. He'll then be happy to
tell you anything you want to hear.

Whatever happened to your honor roll page and lawsuits, abuser?
I was going to say cold read myself, but anyone stupid enough to be
interviewed by an astrologer would probably spill their entire life
story with little prompting. So cold reading would be a last resort.

Trolling for "clients", Edmo?

The way to read a solar return chart is to see where the solar return
stuff falls in your natal. All the SR 9th house stuff falls in your 1st
house, suggesting that 9th house matters will be expressed through you
personally, or have a personal impact. This could refer to higher
education, not just a move. Pluto and Uranus are in the SR 4th (home)
and that UR is on your natal 9th house cusp. That bears out the idea of
a move. (And the higher education could be you learning a foreign
language and about foreign culture.)
The natal rulers of your 9th are Mars with Pluto as back-up. The SR
chart's Mars is in the SR 9th and in your natal 1st. Pluto is in the
natural sign of the 9th, Sagittarius. However, to be absolutely sure,
you have to have transits that verify, and perhaps even progressions
(three's a charm).
I see no transits to your 9th or 4th this year (you're done with the one
to your 4th; that was your Saturn Return). But you do have Neptune
transitting your natal Jupiter, the natural ruler of 9th. That doesn't
make it a clear decision, though. Rather, it echoes the uncertainty you
are feeling.
Progressions: The secondary progression doesn't show anything relevant
to moving for 2003, so it doesn't back up the SR, and it verifies the
lack of "changing house" in your transits. You do have progr. Moon in
Pisces, so what you need to keep your eye out for is progr. Moon
conjuncting natal Mars, which won't be until april 2005. Early 2005 may
be when 9th house activities come to bear for you.
...
As for timing a solar return chart, I've seen one house = one month. I
go counterclockwise, following the numbering of the houses, but some say
to go the other way. So either 9th house of the SR is from March 19 to
April 18, 2003, or from September 19 to October 18. Either way, it's the
same axis in focus.
