Hi.

Sorry to bring astrology back into this newsgroup, but has anyone
anything positive about this aspect?

Non-flippant responses gladly appreciated.

A positive point (at least I think so) is that this aspect can lead to all
sorts of taboos being broken. Taboos can limit our freedom of movement, or
at least it can feel that way. The transforming energy of Pluto would rather
get rid of all these limitations so that he can take control of the
situation himself and not be restricted by taboos. There is something
provocative in this aspect, although it is more subtle than you find with
Uranus.

Brave soul. Must be that Pluto-Moon. Daring to tread where angels ran
away. ;-)

The perfect example of "that which doesn't kill you, makes you
stronger". The survivor of childhood adversities. That can make you the
best equipped to help others with similar backgrounds. The shoulder for
others to cry on, and also to learn from. The houses your square falls
in can clue you in to the specifics.

That is easy;
the moon represents the personal unconscious e-motion or belief system
momentum, and Pluto, the collective unconscious and the personal power
struggles that are possible to find significance within the masses.

Therefore, when fulfilled, the transformation of the unconscious belief
patterns within the persons psyche from a feeling (belief) in powerlessness, to
self-EMPOWERMENT will bring about dramatic changes in the life experiences and
a more accepting and less controlling and judging perspective will emerge.
This aspect reflects an "installation" in a sense, of a belief in powerlessness
by the mother and her nurturing instincts in the childs early environment.
Hence, the person who has this aspect has been taught to not TRUST nature and
the inutive functions, but that they need manipulation and controlling.
Until the developmental issues connected to this square are resolved, there
will be a "blaming" of personal difficulty upon others and "their poor
perspective."
I hope this serves in some way.

This is a short but sincere response.

"What's our name-the combined idea?

It can be generally referred to as any one of the names that represent the
overall collective consciousness within each and
every civilization. Thus for Sirius it would be Siskeen, and for us, Shakana.
For you it is the Christ consciousness. In general any
alignment with Arcturus is simply a representation of another threshold and a
doorway that you are going through. You will find that in your cosmology your
moon specifically represents many of the ideas of your sub- and unconscious
awareness now
coming to the surface. Also your Pluto alignment is generally representative of
the transformation across a threshold that you
previously would have considered to be the idea you call death-but which now
represents a transformation into a new type of life.

I understand the concept, but could you give us an example of the threshold?

The threshold we are referring to is the transformation taking place on your
planet from third to fourth density. That is the
overall threshold. Every single symbol within your reality that has any
relationship to transformation is all generally a part of that.
The specifics are up to you to determine for yourselves, although as we have
said, the idea of your moon does to some degree represent the idea of your
subconscious and unconscious awareness coming to the surface. The idea of Pluto
is the actual journey involved across the threshold itself.
In this same archetypical manner you have described the myth you call the
crossing of the River Styx. This puts you in touch
with what you previously assumed to be the darker regions of your
consciousness. It is another way of saying that you enter the
blending of your positive and negative polarities, and therefore allow
yourselves, in the crossing of that threshold, to glean only
a positive effect out of the blending of the positive and the negative. This is
why you have intuitively labeled Pluto's moon with
the same name as the ferryboat driver that drives you across the mythological
river Styx . . . Charon.

I forgot, resolving this square will also free sexual expression.

This is very true. My daughter has the Moon/Pluto opposition (her Moon
in Taurus is also conjunct the asc and her SN), in the latter fixed
degrees. Though the dynamics are somewhat different, the basic issues
are the same.

When trUranus came along and squared that (and Saturn made it's first
square to her natal Saturn at the same time), she began to have serious
problems, and was eventually diagnosed with a medical condition that has
been very challenging for her (as well as her friends and family), and
is something she will most likely have to deal with her whole life.

She is learning the fine art of self-control out of sheer necessity, and
has been getting some intense lessons in her relationships with others
(which follows, given the 1st/7th house axis of the opposition). As her
mom, it has been heartbreaking for me to watch this process, but she is
becoming stronger and more in control all the time. She is making the
best of this thing, as difficult as it is, and I have a feeling she will
become the type of person that other people naturally lean on and seek
out for help in similar situations. She's a tough kid, but she is also
becoming very tender hearted and empathetic. I'm very proud of her and
the way she is taking this in stride.

That can make you the

What square did you resolve that freed you to snuff out the life of a

What houses do Pluto and Moon rule iin your daughter's chart? What I'm
wondering is, how does this tie into her health/body?

Keera Ann Fox wrote:

The Moon/SN is conjunct the asc, and opposite Pluto/NN 7th. Moon rules
her third, Scorpio on the 7th. Here's her data so you can have a look:
April 13, 1994, 1:49 am PDT, 36n59,119w42.

As you can see, the Moon is within a degree to the asc. Like her mom,
emotional upset can literally make her ill, and she has a tendency to
wear her heart right on her sleeve. Her emotions are often explosive,
and she has to fight hard for self-control.

The Venus/Jupiter opp in the 12th/6th, with Venus ruling both the asc
and the 6th is also a big factor with her health. And of course, Venus
is only 6 degrees away from her ascendant. She is already having trouble
with urges to overdo the sweet stuff in her diet (no surprise with that
set-up) and has had to learn the hard way (through blood sugar swings
and the resulting depression/ill feeling) how awful she feels when she
doesn't pay attention to what she eats. She's a pretty practical girl,
though, so she recognizes her role in taking care of her own health, and
she's learning how to keep her blood sugar levels more even with what
and how she chooses to eat.

Interestingly, her middle name was chosen well before she was born, and
is after a much beloved cousin of her father's (though Shayla and Deonna
never knew each other) who had diabetes and died at 10 years old from
resulting complications. We don't dwell on Deonna's death or make it a
scary thing (in fact, I'm not even sure she knows much about Deonna or
her death), but we made sure she understands what diabetes is, that it
runs in her family, and how a diet with too much sugar can make such
conditions worse, and even cause them.

The Moon's position is vital to this aspect. This position is WRONG
in more than 99.99 % cases online/offline and with your favorable
average astrological authority. That is, the error is usualy 1/2 degree.

Assuming a limited orb or an exact aspect, we can talk Moon Pluto.

There are both positive and negative notes to any aspect. When
"negative" planets are involved there are often hidden pitfalls, but
most usually willingness to work with negative possibilities can bring
about potentially positive outcome. PLUTO brings emphasis and extreme
focus to any pairing. In this case MOON equates to emotional
expression. NPLUTO with NMOON can bring over or under emphasis in
emotional responses; too much or too little response not necessarily
in keeping with the quality of the stimulus. Consequently the native
might be branded with awkardness and even anti-social expression. One
positive expression of PLUTO-MOON seems to be photographic memory and
an ability to direct intense focus to detail. Negative indications
can be problems in blending with other humans on an emotional exchange
level. Often it is difficult for PLUTO-MOON natives to warm up to
others. There is a coldness perceived by others, which the native
might not be able to recognise at all.
