The disfellowshipping of James Scott Trimm

Bill,

Thank you for your message/warning about J. Trimm. I didn't see any
attacks, but only a warning to the readers that Mr. Trimm has been
disfellowshipped from the listed congregations. While this may not
mean much to the unbelieving community, I am thankful that I know
the situation. It helps me understand his perspective as he offers
his views on alt.Messianic.

I'm also sorry you have to field the attacks by those who don't know
the details of this situation. But you knew that was going to happen.
As Paul said, "Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that
others may take warning." You even kept the sins responsible for the
disfellowship private, choosing not to turn AM into a circus, and only
gave a clear warning of Mr. Trimm's background.

You did not ban him from posting on AM but made us aware that there
were at least three known problems in the past which lead to public
discipline. We should not be rebuking you for this disclousure.

The responses from those who are wise in there own eyes may one day
understand exactly what you have done. My guess is they would never
have the spiritual back bone, to be as obedient in similar matters
in their own back yards.

I have read the warning and will heed it brother.
