Yes! you're right. IT IS my conscientious observation that
judicial astronomy is the more correct terminology than is
astrology mine not of interpretation but is light apparent

Yes! I'd really appreciate it if you would do that,
as I have no desire to read your infantile whining.

I don't use newsgroup filters so it's up to you to
use them. Most newsreaders have such capabilities.
So please, do add me to your poor "killfile" so I
don't have to read your childish laments. I've got
better things to, and many astronomical charts to
add to my ever-burgeoning list of articles which
you can be rest assured I'll post to astro groups
et al wheresoever & whensoever I deem appropriate.

Thank you for your cooperation,

I don't particularly like cross posting, but think this may be appropriate
in this case.

By far the best response to the trolls who live on attentionn, whether
positive or negative, is to completely ignore them. Do not respond to any
post they make. Act as if they do not exist.

In other words, "shunning" works very well. It just takes time.

Unfortunately as they are so far off topic there is always some one who
feels the need to respond, not realizing it's not only fruitless, but will
be seen as encouragement.

Don't argue with them, don't try to show them where they have gone wrong,
respond as if they don't exist...by not responding at all.

When some one new shows up on a NG and responds to the trolls, drop them a
"polite" note explaining the situation (another good reason for using valid
e-mail addresses.) If the new poster doesn't have a valid address, the only
alternative is to respond to him/her via the newsgroup.

On one news group they would post an explanation weekly about the troll. No
one would answer him/her for any reason.

Also do use filters even if they are a nuisance.

I just changed computers and hadn't realized this situation was still going
on. I hadn't seen a "nut" post in well over a month.

Respectfully,

If you only accept correct English spelling what is there to correct?

Other than grammar that might be not so good ;)

Don't blame me. Blame MS and their spell checker in Outlook Express <LOL>
It doesn't even catch fat fingering.

Yeah. Bill makes you buy it, and then he makes you turn it on too! If you
don't have MS Word, you don't have a spell checker. It is down in the fine
print.

You are having unprotected speach.

All spelling corrections must be crossposted to alt.astrology.metapsych.
Thank you.

Oh...It's turned on, but it kinds, sorta, sometimes, works.
It probably needs to be reinstalled.
When I installed Win 2000 Pro on one of the other machines, it refused to
use any page except the MS home page, for a start page.
The others work fine...Just that one goes to MS and this one has a flaky
spell checker.
I'd use the one where the software works, except the CPU failed in that
one<sigh>
