Galileo Galilei was born to Vincenzio & Giulia Ammannati-
Galilei at a house owned at the time by Ammannati family
at Via Giusti, 24, Pisa 56127, Italia; exact coordinates
are 10E24:22 43N42:59. Galileo himself recorded the date
and time of his advent 15 February 1564 22:30 counted by
sunset the previous evening--as with the common calendar.

The cosmic descendant for the exact latitude & longitude
February 14 is 5:36:37 PM LMT (+0:41:37); add the ~22:30
yields 4:06:37 PM LMT. The Sun was southing 12:13:53 LMT
post meridiem, thus=>Galileo's birth was ~ III h. LIII m.
p. m. horologii Mathematici(LAT) Tuesday, 15 Feb 1564 AD
on account of Uranus' transit to second in the horoscope;
he was baptised at the local Church of St. Andrea 18 Feb:

Once again, we see some ASSHOLE repost the ENTIRE

Or sex.

Or money.

Or...

BTW, in which field did Weinberg receive his Nobel? Was it a field which
qualifies him to pronounce on this particular subject? Or is this a case
similar to when Wernher von Braun validated Uri Geller, on the theory that a
rocket scientist is qualified to critique sleight-of-hand?

Here you go, John...

Oh no. You could base your argument (pro or con) on historical data, and leave
both morality and religion out of it. However, as a physicist, Weinberg has no
demonstrated aptitude in historical analysis (or philosophy, religion, politics,
or even high-school civics). IOW, he is merely voicing a personal opinion in a
field where the citation of his Nobel Prize is irrelevant, misleading and
dishonest. And, as has been demonstrated here, his opinion is easily refuted.

BTW, if the question of why people and societies consciously do bad things to
each other interests you, there's a book out called "The Lucifer Principle."
It's heavy going, though, and I confess I only made it partway through.
