“Masks”, the story I have just posted will
be the last story I post until the return of ASSM.
Last month when I posted “Centerfold”, I
complained about the lack of feedback on recent
stories. It’s a sentiment that I’ve also heard
repeated by other Authors. One of the theories
I’ve heard tossed around is that it’s harder for
people to find the stories on ASS, populated by
SPAM as it is. Since I use a ISP that allows me to
use killfiles I don’t see much of the SPAM, but
I’m told it is considerable.
The only reason I’m even putting this tale
up now is because I intended for it for be a
Halloween Story and I’d hate to have it dated if
ASSM wasn’t up by then. I also have two other
new stories already done, but I’ll hold them for
ASSM.
So please let me know what you thought
of “Masks” and hopefully ASSM will be back real
soon.

Before you buy.
I haven't read it yet, but I can already make one comment: please do
something about the curly quotes. They're coming through as commas and
percent signs.

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been getting any feedback. I have been
primarily a lurker but have posted two stories. You were kind enough to
comment on one (myfollow up to your Jill Taylor story).
I just finished reading Masks and as usual I really liked it. You are
without a doubt my favorite web author.

Ann, if this was not you, I would not bother with the feed back, but
off the bat, it is MURDER trying to read a story without some kind or
paragragh separation. Extra line is best.
I always download to read and as posted it all runs together.
Was this posted from a .txt file?
Sorry.
Cheers,
Homer

I see indents to begin each paragraph; they must be <tab> characters if
your software's stripping 'em.
