This might be "off-topic"...but I can barely believe what I just
saw...
The CBS Puppet Show just reported on a "bizarre plot" to assassinate
local officials on Long Island. Two men were arrested for allgedly
conspiring to ice officials with radioactive materials. They were
found in possession of canisters of radium.
That's not what has me picking myself up off the floor.
Rather reported that the men were also found with weapons and (get
this) "militia literature".
On those two words, we were shown a copy of "The Freeman - Ideas On
Liberty".
Quiz: How many people here are familiar with The Freeman?
Does anyone here know who publishes that magazine?

There is *no way* to regard Dan Rather as anything but an Amerikan
apparatchik. No way.
One can only hope that he will live a long, long time: to survive
until that day when his own vultures will come home to roost amid his
rancid vapors, and feed on that egregious lie which he has become.
Further affiant sayeth not.

"Anthology"
I think you're giving Dan Rather too much credit, Billy. He'll never know
the difference, you can see the vacuum in his eyes.

Not ignorance; base soviet style propaganda.
Remember when they were playing a Jefferson quote a few months ago and linking
it to OKC bombers and McVeigh proved to have done it by this quote!
I'm telling you, it isn't for lack of trying that the concentration camps
aren't running in this country right now.

Dan Rather is either ignorant of the FEE or has lowered himself to Goebbels
style propaganda.
No HONEST person could read _The Freeman_ and conclude that it was "militia
literature". Rather could have made an ignorant assumption about the boys out
in Montana, had he never seen a copy of _The Freeman_ .
IMO, that is only plausible explanation other than... he has been reading up
on fascist-style disinformation.

Better reread it, that is NOT what he said. But of course
what do I know, I'm not educated like Lindsey.

For years, the Big Media harbored and propagated the urban legend that
Lyndon LaRouche was a libertarian.
They can be some of the world's most nauseatingly ignorant people.
