Ron Stories and the preservation of the early history of Dianetics and
Scientology. Special Guest, Don Rogers, audited by LRH in 1949 and one of
the original 5 members of the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation.

Greetings,

Finally, a Dianetics Seminar in the Blackhills of South Dakota.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those TNXers in the region to assist
their relatives, friends and selectees to experience Dianetics. Is there
someone you know in Wyoming, South Dakota or Nebraska that would like to
get some reality on going up the Bridge?

The event will take place at the Classic Inn in Rapid City, from 1pm to
4pm on Saturday and then again on Sunday, the 24th and 25th of July,
1999, located at 125 Main Street, Rapid City. A local contact is
available by phone at 605-343-5501.

Robert Anderson of the Boulder, Colorado Org will conduct the event, and
will also be assisted by a number of Scientologists from as far away as
Clearwater, Florida.

Help make this a gateway experience for many thetans in this region that
don't have many chances like this for a local area Seminar.

Dear Cass,
I wanted to share this personal win. I e-mailed you yesterday on a
client of mine who was given a bunch of prescriptions with Zoloft
included among them. I sent her a long e-mail and enlightened her on the
drugs and their effects in detail and sent her to the CCHR website to get
more info on the drugs. I was not backed off in my comm to her about
psych drugs. Anyway, here is her response. If you want to share this
with others to inspire them to not be backed off from saving the life of
another, and keep another illegal pre-clear being made, please do so.

About 20 blocks from downtown Clearwater, we hope to have this room
available for someone on or about Sept. 1st. We will be needing someone
to help us and can offer a room (live-in) with us in exchange for a
Caregiver to assist my husband who has had a stroke. He needs help
dressing, washing, etc. and would also need help getting his meals, and
so on. He is on course (Ethics Specialist) and is himself working at
getting back onto OT VII. He is also a Minister of the Church and an "Old
Timer", having been D of P at NY Org. FDN for many years.... flexible
hours, perfect for a student or just someone who wants to live here in
Clearwater and bask in the theta!

Foreigners welcome, bilingual Spanish/English especially, though he does
speak a bit of German, Italian and Portugese too. He would probably be
very happy, also to help you with things that you want to learn.

There's a book which has helped me tremendously. It's called "Pain Free"
by Pete Egoscue. Basically, it explains how you can get cause over a
musculo-skeletal situation you might be dealing with. Some examples are
back problems, foot problems, knee pain, stiff neck, TMJ and
carpal-tunnel syndrome. If you'd like to know more, e-mail me privately.

Past The Tornado's Shadow

Gazing up, amazed,
the silver wings holding
for just a second
the rays of the sun
turning... in unison
the flock as a whole
so bright, yet behind them
the deep purple gray
of a tornado storm
thunder brewing
lightning spikes slanted
violently looking for
the ground as the gales
rushed on by, strong
gusts bending trees...
the shining wings never
missing a beat, turning
rising up high in that sky
as if it all were just
a game of whimsy.

Then the rains came
washing the sky,
the earth, soaking
into the soil, brushing
the sands down
more quickly
than in an hour glass...
the tempest beats
time to a standstill.

Breathing softly
deeply, the air is fresh
the quiet beckons
as once again
birds begin to sing
calling from the trees
across the steady
drip drip drip....

Time resumes
where she left off
telling of twilight's

Dear friends,

As you may recall a few months ago I sent out a mother's day LRH quote
from The Way to Happiness in honor of my mother who had just been
diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

My wonderful mother, Edith Manning, left her tired non functioning 82
year old body on Tuesday July 13th after a 2 day coma, no pain, and
little struggle. She was surrounded by family in her own home when she
went. She is a wonderful being and I'll miss her very much. She was a
great example to me in many aspects of life not the least of which was on
the 2-D as a wife and mother. She and my father would have been married
for 58 years on July 17th. They've had a great life together and an
exceptional partnership. Her dream of seeing her five children reunited
and all supporting her, my father, and each other during this event was
realized and we've had a very theta experience during it all oddly
enough.

I'd like to publicly thank and commend David Sanders, a Solo NOTs auditor
for assisting my mother after leaving her body, and Suzanne Justus an OT
VIII and dear friend for assisting me upon losing her. LRH gave us the
exact knowledge on body death and effective handlings for our response to
it. I was able to give these R-factors to my mom. I had a lot of wins
doing this.

I'd also like to thank Alexis Genung, my dear dear friend and
Scientologist, who attended mom's memorial service at her church in
Sacramento on Friday. It meant a great deal to me to have Alexis there.
On Saturday, we threw a huge anniversary party for my dad which was very
theta and made future plans together as a family. It was great.

One of the things mom did which came as a suprise to us, was she wrote up
her life's story and it's an enlightening and funny read. What a great
thing for her to have done for us!

Whoever gets her next in their family will have a good one- she's pure
gold, very upstat, ethical, and very very theta. She was a great example
of the LRH issue, "What is Greatness". If you run into her, tell her
hello for me.
