Hello Marie,

This is judicial and sidereal astrology. The houses of the Earth
are more personal, and subjective, whereas the constellations on
the caelestial firmament are more universal and objective. These
are generally defined by the following charts:

RULERSHIPS ON OUR CAELESTIAL SPHERE
(ecliptic 0 lat. Aldebaran 15Tau lon.)
E# Sign Glyph Quality Ruler
01 Aries Ram Ambition Mars
02 Taurus Bull Passion Venus
03 Gemini Twins Communication Mercury
04 Cancer Crab Imagination Moon
05 Leo Lion Power Sun
06 Virgo Virgin Virtue Mercury
07 Libra Scales Justice Venus
08 Scorpius Scorpion Vitality Mars/Pluto
09 Sagittarius Archer Fortune Jupiter
10 Capricorn Horned Goat Discipline Saturn
11 Aquarius Water Bearer Inspiration Saturn/Uranus
12 Pisces Fishes Mysticism Jupiter/Neptune

RULERSHIPS IN OUR TERRESTRIAL SPHERE
(meridian houses of the horoscope)
Hs Rulership Ruler
01 - Ego - Mars
02 - Riches - Venus
03 - Brothers - Mercury
04 - Parents - Moon
05 - Sons - Sun
06 - Servants - Mercury
07 - Marriage - Venus
08 - Death - Mars/Pluto
09 - Spirit - Jupiter
10 - Society - Saturn
11 - Friends - Saturn/Uranus
12 - Debts - Jupiter/Neptune

For additional information and 100s of charts, follow the
web-links on this archived URL, with particular attention
to the "beginner's reference", FAQs, and related material:

The calculation is strictly astronomical, whereas deduction
is strictly astrological. Thus is why astronomy & astrology
walk inextricably hand-in-hand. Here are some helpful pages:

Your natal Mars is 15 degrees Pisces 10 minutes on
the caelestial sphere, and is ruling in the eighth
house of the horoscope (meridian houses of course).

Hope that helps,

That's where free will comes in. It is never necessary
to follow the horoscope, but most people are naturally
inclined to follow their horoscope if only unwittingly.

The planet of soul's interim journey between lifetimes,
"heaven" before birth is the innate sphere of the soul,
and is the most effective planet in anyone's horoscope.

As your horoscope clearly shows, your planet is Uranus,
the eighth heaven, the "extremes", climbing the ladder
to a "new freedom" out of Saturn's binding constraints.
Many very influential persons in history have had this
souljourn in Uranus--extremely good and extremely evil.

The sidereal (stellar) zodiac positions of the planets
are generally easily recognized, whereas the positions
of the planets to the Earth in the houses of horoscope
are sometimes most difficult to recognize, since these
planets exert the greatest influence and greater power
through our personal lives--as they say it's easier to
psychoanalyze others than it is to see this in oneself.

That's why I say the universal, objective qualities of
the planets are easy to recognize; whereas, subjective
and personal influences, tendencies, inclinations, are
so close to our daily lives as to blend in unnoticably.

I learned to do charts, mainly from Michel Nostradamus
and Edgar Cayce, and from ancient sources of mythology
and astronomy, particularly from classical Greco-Roman
myths and Babylonian astronomy. So there's nothing new
about what I do, rather it's so old that most everyone
today has forgotten how to do it...I'm a loner in that
sense, to be sure. No body else in the world practices
astrology this way, but in ancient times it was common.

If you like the horoscope, then by all means follow it.
If not, then you're always free to choose another path.
The most important thing is that you're satisfied with
your own horoscope and by your own understanding of it.

Hope that helps,
Daniel Joseph Min

Marie, don't use either one of them. Use your brain instead. Don't
be like Nancy Reagan and lose a trillion dollars for the country by
following an astrological chart.

Thank you for explaining =) it makes a lot of sense..but do you think
it is all right to go by my Aquarius sun, instead of the sidereal
placement of Capricorn? I do already have my ascendent there and I am
so much of an Aquarius is scares me a bit =).

I'm glad that you found this information useful. Your previous
comment about:

"this is accurate to my personality, indeed...
Except that Cap sun."

reiterates your close affinity with Aquarius. I believe
this is because your soul is Uranian, having souljourned
in Uranus most recently before being born. Note the position
of your natal Uranus: in the fifth house of your horoscope.
The fifth house is terrestrial Leo, which is ruled by the
Sun. I believe this is why you are associating your natal
Sun with Aquarius, because Uranus -- Aquarius' ruler --is
right there in your fifth house. I think that explains it.

If you're posting astrology questions in an astronomy newsgroup you can

He most certainly is not.

He simply asked you to use your brain
and think outside your little astrological box.

You, ma'am, are crossposting astrological bullshit to the science newsgroup
sci.astro which, although it is a public forum, is dedicated to the
scientific
aspects of astronomy - not astrology, and I can assure you that your
crossposts will not be received well there. I would suggest you delete
sci.astro
from the Newsgroups box before you send your next message.
Otherwise you will face an increasingly uphill battle in your search for
astrological solace.
