I got this lovely response to a cancel report I sent out. (Please
see my "lambert" report that I posted in
news.admin.net-abuse.bulletins.) I've heard rumors that this Harvey
Lambert is actually Louis Honick. *shrug* Enjoy:

Howard sez that Harvey Lambert (sex...@rocketmail.com - go for
it, harvesters!) sez that:

Plus, he invoked Godwin's Law - maybe in so doing he
inadvertently put an end to any further posts of his own!

Well, only being an amateur at these things, I had never heard of the
gent. This obviously originates at the University of Delaware, Newark.
(128.175)

According to Four11.com,

Honick, Louis M
467 Greenwood Dr, Marshallton, DE 19808-1961
Phone: (302)994-0367

and he appears to be the head of LNHI.NET from their web page (which
seems to have been incompletely customized from a canned page--it's
full of "mailto: webm...@company.com" and such)

So, his home is in Delaware and his business is in Baltimore, which
would certainly help his posting activity.

Now, going through alt.sex, I go back from the end until I find the
first post from an IDT news server:

Hmm--Mr. Lambert lives at a non-existent address on a non-existent
street in Manhattan in a zone number which I think used to be in the
Bronx before the Bronx Post Office broke off from the New York post
office.

There's a link on http://www.lnhi.net/wet/pam/awesome.html which goes
to http://www.hotsexnow.com/ which is one of Mr. er-um Lambert's
domains.

Maybe Mr. Action could help with further investigations.

For an amateur, your work-up was pretty awesome. So, tell me, how'd
you get from the "originates at the University of Delware" part, to
the "According to Four11.com" part?

Amateur? Ha! That was one _fine_ work-up.

As much as I'd love to show off by filling in some of the other stuff
I found, I'm pleased to announce that a "detente" has been reached
with the individual(s) involved. I have no desire to hassle anyone
who isn't actively spamming, even if he did display some monumentally
poor judgement in his choice of email-addresses to use in his spam.

Sometimes quiet diplomacy works best.

On the other hand, Brian Shuster doesn't seem to be paying any
attention to my envoys and ambassidors. It's getting about time to
nuke that fucker.

Stay tuned...

Correction! I think it was Louis Honick who had a "personal growth"
experience, not Lysander!

You don't know the half of it. I amazed _myself_!

There was a time when I would have left blood splatters and
dismembered limbs around here if I'd been handed an opportunity like
this. And I'd have loved every second of it.

Actually, privately saying "go forth and spam no more" has its
satisfactions as well. I must be getting mellower in my dotage.
