The man said that his wife had beaten him and when he went to call the police,
she attacked him and she sustained a bruise on her arm.
The police took her side and took him into custody. She lied that he
had attacked her.
His question: They have a daughter together and would it be irresponsible
for him to leave?
Her answer:
First, she criticized him for being irresponsible and not thinking about
the consequences of sex. She then said that it's "not fair" that
he has no rights under the law but he better get used to it.
She said to go into therapy (which he said he had already tried) but
she told him he should do it again anyway.
She told him that if he has any further problems that the wife can get
a restraining order against him and hurt their child. (Note: She didn't
really care if this happened and the consequences to the child) She
basically just said he had to deal with it.
I have heard her in the past say that if a man ever TOUCHED a woman
in an abusive manner the woman should leave immediately.
Did anyone else hear this program?
