Magic, Ringo Mendoza, and El Dandy (faces); Gato Montini and Pancho
Ramirez (referees); faces win 2/3 falls.
First Fall: Estrada and Dandy trade trips and throws, then engage in
some slow mat work. From this, they go into an extended razzle dazzle
routine off the ropes, but nobody gains an advantage. Ringo comes in
against Fuerza Guerrera and throws him. In return, Ringo is taken down
and worked over pretty good on the mat, just escaping a pin attempt at
the last moment. Black Magic throws Pierroth, but in return is drop
kicked and clotheslined. Magic comes back by Irish whipping Pierroth
into the corner buckles and out of the ring. Dandy and Estrada engage
in some more razzle dazzle to no good purpose, and then Ringo arm drags
Fuerza Guerrera out of the ring. As they tussle outside, Fuerza
accidentally punches Pierroth twice. Back in the ring, Ringo twice
delivers a flying head butt to Fuerza Guerrera. As Pierroth sneaks up
on Dandy from behind, he is caught by Black Magic, who executes a
perfect Karl Gotch suplex on the big clown to pin him.
Second Fall: Fuerza Guerrera flattens Dandy with one punch. Dandy
recovers and takes on all three rudos simultaneously with punches and
kicks. Fuerza Guerrera punches and clotheslines Black Magic, but then
misses a kick attempt and winds up flying through the ropes onto the
arena floor. Magic follows him out for some tough fighting, first
posting, then getting posted by, the CMLL World's Welterweight champ.
At the same time, Pierroth is doing a pretty good job of posting El
Dandy. In the ring, Jerry Estrada is mopping up the place with Ringo
Mendoza. Eventually, all three heels gang up on Ringo, and Fuerza
Guerrera finishes the fall by getting Black Magic to submit to a head
scissors sleeper hold.
Third Fall: Fuerza Guerrera posts Dandy hard, then beats up on Ringo as
Jerry Estrada thrashes Black Magic. On the floor, Pierroth is posting
and punching El Dandy. Ringo recovers and punches Estrada in the gut as
Magic and Dandy beat up Pierroth on the floor. Ringo gives Fuerza a
back breaker in the ring, then Ringo and Jerry trade punches, Jerry
winding up on the floor as a result of a big Ringo punch. Black Magic
presses Fuerza Guerrera overhead, but strangely sets him down on his
feet instead of slamming him. Pierroth is caught in a body scissors by
Dandy and almost pinned. Finally, Dandy puts him in another rolling
crucifix and pins him.
After the match, Dandy and Pierroth engage in fisticuffs in the middle
of the ring as the crowd chants Dandy! Dandy! Dandy! Eventually, Dandy
kicks Pierroth flat on his back.
