Second Match: Mascara Sagrada (face) vs. Mascara An~o 2000 (heel); El
Gran Davis (referee). Mascara Sagrada wins.
The two trade throws, arm locks, and arm wrenches, but 2000 eventually
kicks Mascara Sagrada and chops him through the ropes to the arena
floor. Back in the ring, 2000 kicks Mascara Sagrada in the back of the
knee, then Irish whips him into the corner and follows up with a
clothesline. Mascara Sagrada returns the favor and then catapults 2000
over the top rope onto the arena floor. 2000 climbs back into the ring
and floors Mascara Sagrada with a chop, but the Sacred Mask jumps up
and returns the favor, then kicks 2000 out of the ring. As 2000
struggles to his feet, Mascara Sagrada executes a pretty spectacular
suicide plancha on him, then beats the count back into the ring to win
by countout.
Third Match: Fabuloso Blondy (heel) vs. Ringo Mendoza (face); Gato
Montini (referee). Fabuloso Blondy wins.
Blondy starts fast by slugging Ringo in the chops, throwing him out of
the ring, and posting him. Blondy drags Ringo back into the ring and
pounds his head into the corner turnbuckle twice. The crowd begins to
chant "Mexico! Mexico! Mexico!" and Blondy is distracted. Ringo takes
advantage of the distraction to come back by Irish whipping Blondy into
the corner turn buckle, super kicking him, throwing him out of the
ring, and posting him. Blondy isn't too happy about this turn and picks
up a ringside stool, bringing it back into the ring with him. Ringo
takes the stool away from Blondy and crowns him with it, then threatens
the referee when he tries to take it away from him. At this, Blondy
chokes Ringo, clotheslines him, and then tries for another clothesline
but misses. Ringo, in turn, clotheslines Blondy, then chops and punches
him. Ringo puts Blondy into a half crab, but Blondy escapes and hip
tosses Ringo, following up with several more, two elbow drops, and a
sleeper hold. Ringo submits. As the crowd j
