Cozumel's Living Underwater dive shop went above and beyond this week

This week I made a four night trip to Coz with the main objective of
seeing the Eagle rays. My dive gear never made it to the luggage
carousel in Cancun. Arriving at my Coz hotel (Hacienda San Miguel)
just after 10 PM I was at the mercy of whatever I could do for dive
gear at the 8 AM pickup at PLG.

LU shows up early and we try to rent gear from the PLG dive shop. No
Joy. Politics or other such nonsense.

Then over to Cozumel Equalizers and Darwin rented the items I needed
(Mucho thanks Darwin).

The following day I used LU equipment and some belonging to the DM
(Jeremy). Of course that day I made my first eagle ray dive which was
among the best ever in Coz. Actually the best dive was the following
day at the same place where we saw nine eagle rays in formation.

There were two things that I won't discuss but leave it at this....LU
did not have to do what they did (and these were very customer
friendly actions). LU has in the past been VERY accommodating but
these actions were something I would never expect...and do not expect
in the future...but were mucho appreciated.

Now for the boat. Their main boat is having the superstructure
replaced with one that makes the backroll easier for the aft diver.
Looks like it should be done within a week or so. The boat I used was
one of the rented boats (Gaviota) and it was fine.

Bottom line: Living Underwater (www.living-underwater.com) went above
and beyond what I would expect of a dive shop. I think that this was
my third trip with LU and it will not be the last.

This is a bit convoluted.

The charter company that I dealt with (bougth the ticket) is Suntrips.

The reported airline is Ryan. In the past I have flown on Ryan
aircraft and the service has been excellent.

However this trip apparently someone (Ryan or Suntrips) hired
TranMeridian Airline to act as a Ryan flight.

As of today (26 Jan) I still do not have my gear. Hopefully someone
from TransMeridian/Ryan/Suntrips (who is in charge?) will call me or
I will continue making calls.

After Wednesday past I gave up since the best answer I could get is
that the luggage might show up in days, weeks or never.

Ron, you could have just replaced "Aldora" in all your old posts by
"LU", and almost everything would have applied: Ron Lee spams,
except this time for a shop INFERIOR to the one he used to spam for.

Same DM, same big tank, catered to oldie (Ron) and newbie airhogs.
Same lack of bang for the buck ... except the big tank to bang on.

Here are REASONS for the paragraph above, with FACTS that slipped by
Ron Lee (even though they were PROVIDED in Ron Lee's post!!) just
like all the rest of the facts about Cozumel that escaped Ron.

Here are the top THREE reasons given by the LU webpage, given by Ron:

*> Living Underwater Advantages
*>
*>1. All dives are computer dives

Why is that an "advantage"? My diving friends in Coz and I have been
doing computer dives in Cozumel for YEARS.

*> 2. No one offers bigger tanks

Why should anyone NEED a bigger tank than an AL80 for doing no deco
dives in Cozumel?

*> 3. No one offers more bottom time

Wanna bet? I'll dive with an AL80 and Ron Lee dives with LU's
(or Aldora's) big tank. I bet I get more bottom time.

So far, LU has absolutely NOTHING to offer, over and above any
of a dozen or two of the good dive shops in Cozumel can, and do, offer.

> Arriving at my Coz hotel (Hacienda San Miguel)

>
> LU shows up early and we try to rent gear from the PLG dive shop. No

The REAL nonsense is why LU couldn't come up with rental dive gears
for YOU. The shops I dive with (even Aldora) would have those gears
ready for you, from their own shops or from other shops with which
they work with, within minutes of knowing you needed the gears?

> Then over to Cozumel Equalizers and Darwin rented the items I needed
> (Mucho thanks Darwin).

That speaks for diving with Darwin's Equalizer shop! His shop is
small and cater to individulized diving too, EXCEPT he doesn't cater
to airhogs the likes of Ron who sucks a tank of AL80 dry on descent
to a Punta Sur dive.

> The following day I used LU equipment and some belonging to the DM
> (Jeremy).

So, LU lies on the webpage too! It said,

*> All diving operations are led by Oracio Martinez.

This is far from the first time I caught THIS lie, reported by OTHER
ex-Aldora fans who flocked to LU. :-) Same reason Memo couldn't
dive with divers on four different boats at the same time.

So, Memo left Aldora and set up his own shop. :-)
Oracio probably did the same. Oracio didn't even dive with arse-
kisser Ron! See below what LU DIDN'T have, as reported (but not
observed) by Ron.

> There were two things that I won't discuss but leave it at this....LU
> did not have to do what they did (and these were very customer
> friendly actions).

Of course they didn't. Is this Ron Lee's subtle way of bragging
about special treatments he got for being an arse-kisser? Why don't
you just explain why Oracio says on the webpage that he leads all
dive operations and then you ended up with DM Jeremy?

> Now for the boat. Their main boat is having the superstructure
> replaced with one that makes the backroll easier for the aft diver.

Whoopie. Translation: LU is still fixing its obsolete old boats so
that its divers can make the backroll as easily as other divers have
been doing on OTHER boats in Cozumel for years. Did I get THAT right?

> Looks like it should be done within a week or so. The boat I used was
> one of the rented boats (Gaviota) and it was fine.

So, LU has a vapor-ware boat. It has to rent a boat from some other
shop. Rent Ron's dive gears from another shop. Rent a DM from
another shop to dive with Ron.

Hey, did they rent the BIG TANKS from Aldora too? It was going out
of business, ya know? They must have had plenty of those big tanks
for sale, CHEAP.

> Bottom line: Living Underwater (www.living-underwater.com) went
> above and beyond what I would expect of a dive shop.

Given what they did to YOU, I sure hate to see how they treat the
"regular customers" and not have gone "above and beyond".

> I think that this was
> my third trip with LU and it will not be the last.
>
> Ron Lee

Of course not. That's what you said about Aldora before it went to
the dogs and sold nearly all its boats and looking for a buyer, the
last I heard.

Let me give you and other airhogs a tip about Cozumel diving. You'll
find MANY dive operations, far superior FOR THE MONEY, if you just
learn how to DIVE (improve on dive technique and air consumption rate)
and not have to depend on the one of two shops that pitches to the
diving-clueless on:

*> 2. No one offers bigger tanks

BTW, that statement is FALSE too! I get you Rolando's techie shop
can offer bigger tanks to anyone who asks and pays extra for them.

Ron Lee's posts about Cozumel operators are deja vu all over again. :-)

I should have counted on my buddy Bob to resort to his typical trash
talk. Although one thing seems to have changed. Unless I missed it,
he did not call me an idiot 30 times in one post.

Bob, you might finally be growing up.

As far as air consumption, that yours is better than mine is
irrelevant. The vast majority of divers will get much longer dives on
a 120 cu ft tank than on an AL 80. Fact that you cannot dispute.

So even if you can do a 90 minutes dive to 200+ feet on a double
manifolded Spare Air......good on you. You are atypical.

As far as Aldora going out of business, save your rumors. Report
facts or keep quiet.

Now go back to whatever you are doing now and save your jihad vendetta
against me (because I did not introduce the two women with me to you).

I've NEVER called you an IDIOT 30 times in any post, because your posts
usually consisted of only a few IDIOTIC statements, such as the present
one. To wit:

>
> Bob, you might finally be growing up.

You IDIOT! But you will never grow up.

>

What a profound statement, if you meant 120 cu ft contains more air
than in an AL80. 40 more cu ft, you IDIOT!

What do mean a "vast majority"? You IDIOT.

>
> So even if you can do a 90 minutes dive to 200+ feet on a double
> manifolded Spare Air......good on you. You are atypical.

IDIOTIC babble, in response to a REASONED post (included below).

>
> As far as Aldora going out of business, save your rumors. Report
> facts or keep quiet.

Why don't you state the FACT then? Aldora sold some boats. Aldora
was up FOR SALE. That was the "original Aldora" that Aldora IDIOT Ron
Lee spammed about. You mean Aldora is "in business" because it
couldn't find a buyer, or it now has a new owner? After years of
spamming for Aldora, what made you quit and started spamming for LU
and kissing Oracio's arse now?

>
> Now go back to whatever you are doing now and save your jihad vendetta

> .
> Ron Lee

I just knew Ron Lee cannot make a post without using his patented
"jihad". That's why you are an IDIOT, Ron. You failed to address ANY
of the POINTS I made in my post. You have NOTHING to rebutt those
points, so you resort to your usual "jihad" babble.

As for the "two women" incident, Sheeesh, Ron. You flatter yourself.
Ron was walking down the street with two of the ugliest broads one
can ever see in Cozumel. He recognized me and stopped to introduce
HIMSELF, while pushing those two broads away (probably not sure if
I'll call him an "Aldora IDIOT", I think. :-))).

Well Ron, I called you an IDIOT on every suitable place in your post.
How many times was that? At least 30? That's another reason you
are an IDIOT. You can't count.

To paraphrase Pat, whose sig reads "I call you a friend because you
are my friend", I have documented above why I call you an IDIOT, Ron,
because you ARE an IDIOT. Get it?

The next time you post something like the one I responded to below,
and overlooked all the BAD points about LU which I documented, based
on what YOU said, I am going to start calling you a "LU IDIOT".
There's nothing jihad about it. :-))))

A seasoned (and LOUD) diver such as yourself should know that most
AL80s hold 77.4ft, so the difference would be 42.6, assuming a full
fill (perhaps a bad assumption with Coz operators - Equalizers gave
me pretty low fills).

It doesn't take a diver or reader with much skill in anything to know
that Jason O'Rourke is a nitpicking pedant.

I won't bother to correct his ERRORS (as a pedant) of not knowing the
different AL80s that have different specs of the kind cited above.

That was my comment about Ron Lee's ORIGINAL post about LU. It was
a reasoned post, point by point, indicating WHY unbeknownst to Ron
Lee, his stated facts were speaking against LU, rather than for it,
and instead of responding to point points, Ron Lee went into his
usual "jihad" business, and created derogatory SUBJECT names against
me. The present subject was my response to what Ron's post with
a derogatory SUBJECT, but nothing of scuba substance in it, about
Aldora OR LU!

> (great part cut out>

Aldora webmaster, you snipped TOO MUCH, to have lost what supported

What you snipped was "THIS lie", what Oracio said on his webpage,
cited by Ron Lee, and below was what I said, preceding the three lines
you clipped, OUT OF CONTEXT:

RF> So, LU lies on the webpage too! It said,
RF>

RF>
RF> This is far from the first time I caught THIS lie, reported by OTHER
RF> ex-Aldora fans who flocked to LU. :-) Same reason Memo couldn't
RF> dive with divers on four different boats at the same time.

It makes a difference when cited IN CONTEXT doesn't it?
Memo never said or advertised that all diving operation are led by HIM!

> Just for the reccord: As from February teh 1st., Memo is back with
> Aldora Divers and Dave Dillehay is in charge.

So is that why YOU are here to spam for Aldora now?

> And of course as Bob points out: Memo could not dive with everyone,
> nor could Oracio.

But you didn't note the difference. I pointed out above, that Memo
couldn't dive with everybody, but DIDN'T say he could dive with everybody.
He didn't lie. Only the Aldora IDIOTS assumed that if they dived with
Aldora, they could have requested Memo.

On the other hand, Oracio LIED because he said he lead all dives. Ron
reported that he dived with some DM named Jeremy which was what prompted
my question about what was said on that webpage.

You're not doing Aldora any service by your thinly disguised AD,

Why don't you go to rec.scuba.locations and look up the posts THERE
in which I DEFENDED Aldora as rigorously against some unwarranted
charges by Greg Morrison, and called him an Anti-Aldora IDIOT, in the
same manner I told Ron Lee and other Aldora IDIOTs why they were
IDIOTS.

Meanwhile, why don't you take it up with Greg Morrison, and have your
Aldora vs Anti-Aldora bout with him. That should prove to be
interesting reading for everyone.

You're picking on the wrong person, Aldora webmaster! You listened too
much to the Aldora IDIOTS such as Ron Lee.

Ron, you included only my most recent post in reply to our new Aldora
SPAMMER, the Aldora webmaster himself.

All you have to do if you want anyone to see how many times Bob calls
Ron Lee an Aldora IDIOT, is to use Google.com and specify the
keywords, "Aldora IDIOT Ron Lee", and you'll get 137 hits,
(That's the number of POSTS) and not even all of them were posted
by me. I didn't bother to see how many of the 137 were posted
by me, but the SECOND one in the search had this:

(posted by Pmcduffee back in 1998):

Apparently not.

His present post just added another reason for it.

If you do a keyword search (WITHOUT the word Aldora), just just

"IDIOT Ron Lee",

you'll find 3020 hits! Most of them giving REASONS why.

Are you happy now, Ron, or are you still trying to re-establish what
every one already KNOW about you?

No, Alan.

24/7 is someone like yourself, who managed to have accumulated over
1560 hits in Google, as AUTHOR, in less than a year of posting in
newsgroups.

You are a "Clueless Newbie", Alan.

You haven't even earned your "Mental Midget" cert yet, and you're
already aspiring to have yourself known as an "IDIOT"?. Ron Lee
has paid his dues, and is a full-fledged IDIOT.

Your classfication, in the annals of internet posting, is a "gnat".

A nuisance, with no bite, no experience, and no talent, but I have
give you credit for TRYING, by devoting your entier life, 24/7,
to make an ass of yourself.

Come back in a few years and try again.

We can assume all references you make to google really mean
groops.google.com (aka, deja), right? The majority of the world
means something else when they say google.

Keep your head up, Alan. You'll get promoted soon enough;
it's not about the number of postings you make, but rather the number
of times you expose him for the old coot that he is. You might try
fishing in the Uwatec threads - Bob seems very eager to remind us
of his role, even in unrelated threads.

But it takes a hell of an effort to get promoted to my level!

You won't find it in "groops.google.com" for sure! :-)
I can't help it if the rest of the world is like you. It's in
my post in THIS thread, and you missed it!

RF> I had told Ron Lee if he wanted others to know how many times

I have also mentioned it 72 times in other posts. It gets tiresome
to say groups.google.com everytime when "google" should suffice,
in the CONTEXT of searching for posts in USENET ngs and lists.

Very true. There aren't many IDIOTs like Jason and his identical
Twin brother CPR86. Jason works hard on it, so I had to "upgrade"
him from an IDIOT to an internet "hardened criminal" who has held
worked throught the ranks of "gnat", "mental midget", and "idiot"
to what is today.

Just look at how he missed "groups.google.com" in this very thread
just so that he can use it as his excuse to put in his noise.

Just earlier today you defended your practice of long windbag postings,
because you didn't like to leave anything ambiguous. And yet now you're
using context when convenient?!

Google means google, not deja. It is a web search, not a USENET search.
If you're suddenly too lazy to spell it out, use "deja." We all know
you've been around long enough to know the history of newsgroup archives.

Thanks Jason.

You know, rec.scuba personalities are certainly interesting, but I've
never encountered anyone quite like Bob Ling before. A pompous and self
aggrandizing anachronism, he ruthlessly (and with never less than 100
words) attacks anyone "impertinent" enough to challenge or poke fun at
him. I assume he's comfortable with himself, but I pity anyone who
actually has to work with him on a daily basis.

The funny part is that he's inaccurate. He does a cursory examination
of a subject, then pronounces his "learned" opinion based on oftentimes
incomplete data. Take his statement above - "as AUTHOR, in less than a
year of posting in newsgroups" - I've been posting far longer than
that, but changed my posted e-mail address about a year ago as a spam
trap. But since Ling only looks at the surface of the data, he comes to
inaccurate conclusions, then tries to legitimize them with his
"credentials."

Jason, you were using the above as your EXCUSE to mouth off some
impertinence. I had already told you it's not "groops", and it's
not "deja" either, which is an OBSOLETE product, bought by Google
years ago. There's nothing to add to what I have already responded.

Just crawl back into your sandbox or the other newsgroups that have
idiot mentality like yours. You have already earned your IDIOT
status long time ago. There is no need to re-assert that you
deserve it.

You can mouth it as often as you want - this isn't google.

A google search for: "ron lee" idiot gives you 69 results, none of
which are the ones you refer to.

A google search for: bob ling crackpot gives 66 responses.

So either learn to use a better term, or write a few more words. We
know you're fully capable of the latter, questionable if you can do
the former.

another Jason posting in rec.scuba -- don't want anyone to mistake

But you forgot, it was about YOUR 24/7, as evidenced by your RECENT
postings. NOT about your mailing address, in the CONTEXT:

Alan> Bob, was that about 24/7?

That was Alan's impertinent, off-target, irrelevant, remark as a
GNAT, on what I had posted. Thus my response:

RF> No, Alan.

If your postings had something of substance, it might be a different
story. You might be said to be "prolific" then. But in YOUR case,
it's all impertinent drivel and dribble. The message to you was:
Alan, get a life.

Of course you missed it.

You aspire to be an IDIOT when you grow up, just like Jason O'Dork.
How's THAT?

Jason O'Rourke plagiarized the subject heading I used for Ron Lee,
for his post,

"3020 Reasons why Bob Ling is an IDIOT"

What's in that thread of TWO posts, one by Jason, and the follow-up
by Ron Lee is the FUNNIEST thread I've EVER read, not because it
consists of posts by the two known IDIOTs, but because

Jason has proven himself to be the World's BIGGEST IDIOT

in what he wrote in his post.

You've got to see it to believe it. HONEST!
Jason had NO IDEA what he found. :-))))))))))))))))))))))

Ron Lee is correct! If he had bothered to follow Jason's direction
and used the google archives, Ron would hae known that NOBODY has
ever called THIS Bob Ling a crackpot in any newsgroup, except in
Jason's post.

THAT's NOT the FUNNIEST part. The FUNNIEST part is how google FOUND
those hits, using the keywords "bob ling idiot" Jason suggested.

> j...@CSUA.Berkeley.EDU (Jason O'Rourke) wrote:

That's because Jason O'Rourke doesn't know HOW to use the "advanced
search" feature in the http://groups.google.com, using the keywards
I suggested, "ron lee IDIOT". It had 3020 hits then. It had
3050 hits when I checked before posting this.

So, Jason didn't even know where the "3020 Reasons" in the subject
I used came from and blindly stole it for his post.

NOW comes the FUNNY part.

> >A google search for: bob ling crackpot gives 66 responses.

Using the same "advanced search" feature in groups.google.com,
and the keywords "bob ling crackpot", it only turned 22 hits.

If you have held out this long, you DESERVE to be treated by the
Masterpiece of Jason O'Rourke's display of his IDIOCY. He didn't
know HOW to search, and didn't even LOOK at what he found.

These were among the first few hits ... the KEYWORDS (in boldface

Groups.google.com did its job well, of picking out those 22 posts from
BILLIONS and BILLIONS (A Sagan) posts that contained ALL THREE keywords,
"bob ling crackpot".

Jason missed all of that. The joke was on HIMSELF, for shooting his

You can enjoy the REAT of the hits there. Only ONE of them came from
rec.scuba or any other scuba group, and that's the one posted by
the WORLD's BIGGEST IDIOT, our own Jason O'Rourke.

Enjoy!

Bob... I don't think that many ppl here care. Jason and I might

I've tried to say it real slow for that addled mind of your's:
groups.google.com is not 'google.'

It's no surprise you prefer the usenet archives over google - you barely
exist in the latter. By some geeks' definition, you don't really exist.

I agree! But for everyone who READs Jason's and Ron's crap, I am
putting out anti-crap FACTS for those who DIDN'T know what the crap
is all about, and once they've seen it, they would know to ignore
them from then on.

> Jason and I might
> disagree on stuff here but I find this bit with you and him to be
> pretty lame.

On HIS part. Old Salt, what you've missed are the fact that Jason
O'Rourke goes OUT OF HIS WAY to make a nuisance of himself, to the
extent of posting something he knew NOTHING about, as his way of
flaming me, and he didn't even READ the stuff he was supposed to
have found.

That is a FACT that I documented.

If you missed it, it's yours and Jason's problem. Not mine.

> Furthermore, the Aldora crap that going on between you
> and Ron is ridiculously tiresome.

The crap is one-dimensional, all from Ron. If you had bother to READ
what I had posted, to save time for those readers who wants to know
what went on and don't have the time look up the history, you would
have KNOWN that I treat every post, including this one of yours, on a
CASE by CASE basis. As soon as the crap stop ON THE OTHER SIDE, you
won't hear a word from ME about it.

But as long as they keep coming back, they'll be exposed for WHAT they
are, whenever I choose to do it, and however I want to do it. In the
end, they'll all be gone (you can't even count HIGH enough all those
Aldora IDIOTs, Mental Midgets, and gnats that are no longer here) and
I'll be here to discuss SCUBA as I have always done.

> It makes me yearn for Dr Black to post again.

Whatever is between you and Dr. Black is YOUR business, not mine. (And
I don't need any IDIOT interpreter of your statement or any subtleties
in your statement). I have already posted MY last post about Dr. Black,
a eulogy of sorts, which captured EXACTLY how I felt about this man,

"MY Last Words about MJB aka icediver..."

http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=8fb7380b.02113...@posting.google.com

which included these last words,

> we say, or can say, really matters, once the person is gone, be it

Salty, Dr. Black is DEAD. Let him R.I.P.

Meanwhile do YOUR part in cyberspace and life, to see if you can make
it a better life for everyone else.

Speaking up on behalf of Ron Lee and Jason O'Rourke WITHOUT the FACTS
and without recognizing what they are doing, is, IMNSHO, not the way
to do it.

Jason, you're just RE-CONFIRMING why you're the BIGGEST IDIOT in the
world.

After YEARS of your mouthing in rec.scuba, and talking about how you
and CPR86 could find things in the archives, you STILL don't have the
foggest idea how to do it!

Why didn't you post your follow up in the ongoing thread about this? :-))

You're using the WRONG SEARCH engine, for newsgroups, you IDIOT!

It was explicited stated THREE LINES above the link you gave,

http://groups.google.com

and you went looking at

which was why you only found 71, the WRONG ONES, instead of 3050, the
RIGHT ONES, those that appear in newsgroups, most of which in rec.scuba,
(here), which was what the reference is all about!

Read how you shot you own foot with the other foot in your mouth,
Jason, in the thread in which you should have responded:

"You're GUARANTEED to laugh! Jason O'Rourke is a bigger IDIOT than
Ron Lee".

Did you read it? More to the point, I said it's GUARANTEED to
make one laugh. Did you laugh at those hits you would have found,
if you had done it correctly?

It's not simply a claim. It's easy enough to verify, or was before he
retired. For one reason or another, I've had sufficient reason to verify
information about Bob. Because our relationship, regardless of whether it
was good or bad at the time, has always been personal rather than
professional, I've been restricted to public rather than official channels
of investigation. No matter, there's been enough information on line alone
to confirm much of what he claims. There probably still is.

As obnoxious, agressive and generally disagreeable as I find the man, I've
not known him to lie about his qualifications or experience.

If you guys would just killfile him, he'd be dancing all by himself, and I'd

He wore out his welcome on Scuba-L, he's pretty much chased all but the hard

What "skirmish?

Now Jason O'Rourke's MENTALITY is revealing itself.

1. He doesn't know how to use google to retrieve newsgroup posts or
rec.scuba posts.

2. He used the WRONG google search to get some 'hits' on using his
keywords "Bob Ling crackpot"; never read them, and didn't
realized NONE of them referred to me. That was what started
me on this thread.

3. He is congratulating himself on line count, and his "squad",
forgetting about all the SUBSTANCE that point to his IDIOCY
and IGNORANCE.

Did you not see these lines in my reply to chiili's post which you
didn't see?

RF> At any rate, siding yourself with an IDIOT on his IDIOCY wins points

> I'll be dancing on your grave, Bob. Only chance for you is if I

Jason, you have NO LIFE.

You're dancing with one foot in mouth while shooting the other foot.

'deja' is DEAD, as of several years ago. It's an obsolete product.
That's why YOU managed to retrieve 67 (or whatever) number of posts
searching with "Ron Lee IDIOT" when there were 3050 hits in the
"advanced search" of groups.google.com.

That's why you would have found NO HIT (except the one posted by
Jason O'Rourke) that matched the keywords "Bob Ling crackpot"
among ALL the posts in all newsgroups. The "Bob" you would have
found were Bob Woodward, Bob Minton, and all kinds of OTHER Bob's.

I am not here to "skirmish" with any IDIOT.

I'm here for POLUTION CONTROL, as a private citizen of an Open Forum,
in which all IDIOTs are free to make a fool of themselves, such as
what Jason O'Rourke and other IDIOTs have been doing.

I am here to EXPOSE them for what IDIOTS they are. There are no
line counts. No counting of cheerleaders. It's all SUBSTANCE.

Why don't you see if you know how to find where someone (in rec.scuba)
said of Jason O'Rourke, amoung

*> Jason, do you find it intimidating to be stuck with such a village
*> mentality while communicating in an international forum? You really
*> are a blithering idiot!!

That was in one of the 450 hits on "Jason O'Rourke IDIOT". It takes
only SECONDs for anyone who knows how to use google to find it.

If you did a search for "Jason IDIOT", you would have found 58,700 hits,
but most them were not YOU. The MIS-HITs were ALL Jason O'Rourke
found when that IDIOT (that's YOU, Jason) searched with "Bob Ling
crackpot". That's what's FUNNY in this thread.

You've gotta know HOW to do a search properly.

The INCREASE was ALL generated by Jason O'Rourke since
February 11, 2003, because he didn't know how to search for newsgroup
postings!

In your FIRST "bob ling crackpot" search, there were 22 hits -- NONE
of which was this Bob Ling, except the one by IDIOT Jason O'Rourke.
That was what made Jason O'Rourke even a BIGGER IDIOT than Ron Lee.

Now the count is up to 32, the additional 10 generated by the NOISE
made by IDIOT Jason O'Rourke over his IGNORANCE on how to use
newsgroup search engines and how to recognize his own ignorance
and idiocy.

Keep it up, Jason.

YOUR count is synonymous with the number of times you are shooting
your own foot while the other foot is in your mouth! :-)))))))))))

This post will add ONE to your "crackpot" count!

definitions. You're out of your league on internet matters.

If you had been a bit smarter, you would have pointed out how I cheated
a bit, at your expense, in the inconsistent use of quotes.

Because some people read and post to newsgroups via googles ONLY, which
is better threaded than all the newsreaders I've ever used.

But you're correct in the respect that nobody would care if chilli's
post never arrive. :-)

Who said anything about a real time chat room.
Google is an archive, with 3-9 hour delay (which is a Good Thing <tm>),
but not supposed to have a 1-2 day delay.

You have a life outside of rec.scuba.
CAN it BE that HIS ONLY life is HERE in newsgroups?
HE is a STATISTICIAN, right?

HE certainly RANTS on HERE

No, no, you don't understand. The world is attacking Bob, with no
provocation whatsoever. I'm doing it, Ron Lee's Doing it, Jason's doing it,
the entire Scuba-L list is doing it, pretty much everybody's doing it. It's
not Bob, it's everybody, well almost everybody, else.

I wear ankle socks with both long and short pants. I also have large calves and
find knee socks uncomfortably tight.

Why do you prefer knee socks?

I find the supposeded "Lee Bell" comment unlikely. Having seen his
posts over many years, it is not characteristic of him.

That's why you are an IDIOT, Ron. It's all taken directly from the
Google archives. You think THEY don't know to post on their own
behalf if they didn't say it? They are right in this thread with
you.

That the same IDIOT Ron.

Never check for FACTs when they are there.

But he doesn't hold a grudge. That's why he's taking cheap shots at
somebody he knows only gets his garbage through the posts of others.

Interesting coming from Lee, who constantly bragged about having put
me on his kill-file ("block list") talking about taking cheap shots.

In this thread, as of this moment, there are 31 posts. 4 of them
were by Lee. I had follow-ups on posts of Dan Bracuk, chilli, OldSalt,
and of course IDIOTs Ron Lee and Jason O'Rourke, all taking cheap shots
at me, but NONE of my posts in these 31 was a follow-up to Lee's
cheap shots.

It's a pity that Lee has descended to the level of IDIOTs, and has
called me an "asshole's asshole" hence making him on of the greatest
hypocrits of all times for the role he has given himself as Scuba
Cop against name-calling, which apparently is the uncurable disease
Ron Lee has been afflicted with.

Bob:

if you are really trying to alienate, irritate and anger
everyone in rec.scuba,
and to convince everyone here that
you are the annoying abusive tedious nitpicking bore of Rec.Scuba,
your current technique will certainly be successful.

Bob, please be specific. Is name-calling the disease? If so then I am
disease free (mostly...and certainly compared to you)

And the Bob is Bob Ling, not any other Bob involved in any of these

Oh come on now Bob. I certainly wasn't taking any cheap shots at you.
I simply said that I find the back and forth comments between you and
Ron about Aldora to be tiresome. That's a fact and I merely expressed
my opinion. It's also a fact that, for some odd reason, I miss the
Doctor. None of those comments were overly harsh toward you. I was
joking about your socks. Lighten up and take a deep breath. You're too
serious. What happened to your sense of humor ??
