Hi Folks
The situation with Visions magazine has been partially resolved.
There's about a 1 in 100 chance that a paper version of Visions will
appear in future, the various deals I was negotiating have not been
successful (although there is one that still isn't concluded one way or
the other).
So we're doing what many urged us to do -- relaunching Visions as a
webzine.
The re-launch is on 1st Sept and the first two issues will be "reprints"
of material from Visions #1, which will be followed within two weeks by a
web version of Visions #2.
Selected features will include downloadable PDFs.
Two weeks after that we will start with the absolutely brand-spanking new
stuff in Visions #3 -- the magazine will be released every 4 weeks
thereafter.
>From Visions #3 we will be charging a year's subscription of 10 UKP.
Those who took out a full year's subscription to the paper magazine will
be credited with a very large number of web issues, if that's what they
would like.
We have some very interesting other plans[1] to give lots of added value.
