RTFM. But in the meantime, type

g newsgroup.i.want.to.read
******** 0 unread articles in newsgroup.i.want.to.read--read now? [ynq]

Answer "y", natch.

Don't you hate it when people suggest you RTFM and then give advice
that doesn't seem to work. Did you actually try this in rn? It
certainly doesn't work in our version of rn. A 'y' response returns

End of newsgroup

Rather, at the prompt, if you know the article you want, type a period
and an article number, such as in the following example. This will get
you into the news group and then you will need to use the "m"
command to mark articles as unread.

**** 0 unread articles in news.whatever--read now? [ynq] .1802

Alternately, at the prompt you can give the m command to "unread"
lots of articles. For example:

**** 0 unread articles in news.whatever--read now? [ynq] .1802-.1899 m

Just remember the period.

Hello Sandra

The method posted earlier does work, if you read everything, you can
go back to the newsgroup. on the question
0 unread article in xx.xx --read now [ynq] ?
answer 'y'. r will say 'End of newsgroup'. At this point you can
type 'P' succesively to go back to read articles, or you can make all
articles unread by typing 1,$m

Greetings, Rob
