Jewish Socialist Movement
Lithuania was the cradle of the Jewish Socialist movement. It was characteristic
that the Jews of Lithuania found it necessary to publish a Socialist literature,
at first in Hebrew (A. S. Liebermann and his colleagues) and later in Yiddish.
The background to this was the existence of the many thousands of poor and
oppressed Jewish workers and craftsmen who did not know Russian or Polish; the
maskilim and Socialists were therefore compelled to address them in their own
language. From the close of the 19th century, there rapidly developed an
ideology in which revolutionary Socialism was allied to fragmentary and
propitiatory nationalist formulae which in practice called for the fostering of
a secular literature in Yiddish (Yiddishism) and Jewish cultural autonomy,
centered on a secular community organization and Jewish schools giving
instruction in the language of the masses (Ch. Zhitlowsky). In order to mobilize
the Jewish workers for revolutionary activities the Bund was organized. The Bund
rapidly extended its activities into Poland and Ukraine but its influence was
essentially felt in Lithuania. Its emissaries gained adherents among the
poverty-stricken Jews of the towns and townlets, and created a sense of
self-confidence in the Jewish apprentices and workers and mobilized them into
the service of the revolution. The Bund played a major role in the destruction
of traditional Judaism and in opposition to Hebrew culture and Zionism.
The influence of Lithuanian Jewry on Russian and world Jewry gained in impetus
from the middle of the 19th century. The Lithuanian yeshivot attracted students
from every part of Russia, as well as from abroad. Religious and secular books
from Vilna were sold throughout the Disapora. Rabbis of Lithuanian origin served
many of the world's communities and Lithuanian melammedim (teachers of
elementary religious studies) were recognized as capable teachers in Poland and
southern Russia.
One of the causes of the spread of Lithuanian influence was the dire poverty in
the country, which led to a constant stream of emigration toward southern Russia
and Poland and later to the countries of Western Europe and America. Wherever
the Lithuanian Jews arrived, they brought with them their spiritual heritage and
learning and thus contributed toward strengthening traditional Judaism and the
forging of closer links among the Jewish people and its culture. They were also
prominent among the Jewish populations of St. Petersburg and Moscow. Large
numbers settled in Warsaw and Lodz. They streamed to America and formed a
special concentration in South Africa. They also made an extensive contribution
to the modern development of Erez Israel.

According to Jewish researcher John Sack, "In 1945 many Poles felt (and
not without reason) that Jews ran the Office of State Security ... the
chief of the Office was Jacob Berman, a Jew, and all or almost all the
department heads were Jews."
Sack reports that 75% of the officers of the Communist Secret Police in
Silesia were Jews. He noted that many Jews in the Communist terror
apparatus in Poland changed their names to Polish ones like General
Romkowski, Colonel Rozanski, Capt. Studencki and Lt. Jurkowski. (cf. John
Sack, The New Republic, Feb. 14, 1994, p. 6. Sack in this article also
refutes some shoddy research performed by Daniel Jonah Goldhagen, author
of Hitler's Willing Executioners, who, in the double standard typical of
the Jewish mentality, refuses to accept the proven fact that Jews ran the
Polish Communist secret police even as Goldhagen asserts the racist myth
that the entire German nation was guilty of genocide. Sack does a good
job of proving Goldhagen wrong about Poland).
In Poland, "... a disproportionate number of Communists were Jews. In
1930, at its peak, 35% of the members of the party were Jewish. In
Communist youth organizations, Jewish membership was even higher, while
Communists of Jewish origin occupied most of the seats on the central
committee. Communism appealed to some Jews because it opposed
anti-Semitism more vigorously than any other Polish party ... Jewish
Communists reached their apogee in the years immediately after World War
Two, when the party leadership was totally in the hands of the prewar
Communist leadership that abhorred anti-Semitism." (Sheldon Kirshner, The
Canadian Jewish News, Nov. 5, 1992, p. 16).
Of course when one encounters the issue of Jews, Communists and Catholics
in Poland in the Establishment media or universities today, the mass
murder of the Polish Catholics at the hands of the Jewish Communists, is
never raised. Instead, a minor attack on Jews by Polish peasants enraged
at the role of Jews in Communist terror, which occurred in July, 1946 at
Kielce and which has come to be called the "Kielce pogrom" will be the
centerpiece of the "discussion." The motivation for the attack is not
usually mentioned. Rather, the Catholic peasantry are painted in terms of
"fiendish bigots" whose "blind, irrational hate" for the "poor, persecuted
Jews" resulted in "yet another martyrdom of God's Chosen." But the
Catholic Primate of Poland at the time, Cardinal Hlond, a brave prelate in
a stalwart tradition of Christian resistance to Jewish tyranny in Poland,
so different from the traitorous philo-Judaism of the current Pontiff,
stated that the attack in Kielce occurred because of resentment 'due to
the Jews who today occupy leading positions in Poland's (Communist)
government and endeavor to introduce a governmental structure that the
majority of Poles do not wish to have." (Ibid., Kirshner)
As Piotr S. Wandycz of Yale University observes, "The average Pole could
not but notice in the Stalinist era that the two most powerful men in the
country-Berman and Minc-were both Jewish as was the dreaded security
official Rozanski." (N.Y. Review of Books, Aug. 18, 1983, p. 51).
With this record it is interesting to note that the Polish occupant of the
papacy, John Paul II, consistently lent his prestige and his presence to
canonizations and commemorations of politically correct victims of the
Nazis. Nowhere did this Pope breathe a word about the openly Jewish,
Communist massacres of Polish Catholics, Spanish Catholics, Croatian
Catholics, Lithuanian Catholics - he was too busy, intoning the Shoah,
referring to the heirs of the Pharisees as "our Elder Brothers in the
Faith", giving official recognition to an Israeli state which even many
orthodox, Haredi rabbis regard as a blasphemous and abominable entity, and
attacking the German people as "the image of the beast."
Solomon Morel: commandant of a post-war Communist concentration camp for
Germans in Poland. Stalin deliberately put Jews in charge of such camps.
Morel tortured and murdered thousands of Germans, sometimes with his bare
hands (cf. "The Wrath of Solomon", Village Voice, March 30, 1993 and John
Sack, "An Eye for an Eye"). Morel is comfortably esconsed in Tel Aviv.
German survivors of Morel's camp have demanded he be tried as a war
criminal, but for the Establishment media and the phony, partisan, "human
rights" groups, bringing Morel to justice is simply a non-issue. After
all, he murdered helpless Germans, so what's the problem? ... ... ...

The book's "Acknowledgments" starts with: "This book had its genesis in a
course I developed at the suggestion of Rabbi David Mirsky, Dean of Stern
College for Women, Yeshiva University [New York, New York 10033-3201 -- I
added the address- it was not in the original text. Tavish]. ...I am
indebted to the Yivo Institute for Jewish Research, the Blaustein Library
of the American Jewish Committee..."
Page 371 states: "In the first years of occupation, the Jewish parties
essayed several tests of strength. The first came at the end of 1940 in
Warsaw. Youthful Polish hooligans had charged Jewish neighborhoods, with
cries of "Kill the Jews" and "We want a Poland without Jews." They stormed
Jewish stores and even homes, robbing, looting, and beating up the Jews.
The Germans stood by, observing and photographing."
[Why were these Poles in an outrage against Jews? Was this
anti-Semitism just part of German occupation and therefore
attributable to the Germans? Let us read on. Tavish]
Continuing:
"An emergency meeting of the Bund aktiv [read below for the politics of
the Bund] was called. In normal times, the Bund would have sent out its
party and trade-union militia [thugs] to fight off the pogromists, but
now, under German occupation the stakes had changed."
[We see that pogroms were taking place against Jews even before the
occupation by Germans! Why would this be? Perhaps the Poles knew something
that most "Holohoax" people don't want discussed. They knew that Jews were
setting them up for a Soviet Socialist dictatorship! Look below. The
politics of the Bund is noted on page 434: "The [Jewish Labor] Bundists
were cut off from contact with Polish Socialists....... Dawidowicz further
states on page 363: "The Bund historically held the Marxist view of
society in conflict...." Tavish]
Also concerning the Bund in Poland:
In 1897 was founded the Bund, the union of Jewish workers in Poland and
Lithuania. . . They engaged in revolutionary activity upon a large scale,
and their energy made them the spearhead of the Party (Article on
"Communism" by Harold J. Laski, Encyc. Brit., Vol. III, pp 824-827).
The Germans dealt with the Socialists in Poland and Dawidowicz details
this on page 354: "In German occupied Poland, the Gestapo, armed with
lists of Socialist councilmen and deputies, rounded up dozens of political
activists, sometimes incarcerating them in concentration camps, more often
killing them right off."
[One must ask: "Who furnished the Gestapo with lists of Socialists?" I
would wager that the Poles did. Who were these Socialists that were
rounded up? The answer is below with the next paragraph. Tavish]
The next paragraph on page 354 continues with:
"Flight, arrest, and murder depleted Jewish political leadership from the
start of the occupation, leaving the parties for the most part in the
hands of second- and third-echelon activists."
Page 356 states: "In early 1942 the Polska Partia Robotnicza [PPR], the
Communist party in a new guise made its appearance in the
Generalgouvernement... The PPR is mentioned again on page 431
where we read: "The Soviet Union, for example, began in 1943 to back only
such indigenous Communist resistance movements in the several East
European countries as would provide it with postwar political footholds
there. ...The Soviet Union, for its part, through the PPR supported the
People's Army with funds and materiel, on the calculation that it would
establish the Communist presence in postwar Poland."
For further proof of Jewry's communistic ties turn to page 434
[bottom] and read the socialist and communist links : "The [Jewish Labor]
Bundists were cut off from contact with Polish Socialists; the Jewish
Communists were isolated from their parent PPR." [The PPR is mentioned
above.]
[Here is what many Poles obviously knew and this would explain why they
had pogroms against Jews! Tavish]
Page 360 "Early in 1941 the Bund's Central Committee in the Warsaw ghetto
sent a report to its New York organization, describing its functions as it
then perceived them... [Socialists have a New York operation!] the Bund's
Central Committee adopted a policy statement setting forth their political
hopes and expectations:
Poland is our homeland, where we are entitled to equal
citizenship rights, where our future lies. . . . Any other
Solutions offered, under present conditions, by Zionist
or other Jewish groups, are wrong and utopian, as they
always were. Together with the Polish working masses
struggling underground, the Jewish people of Poland
see no other means of survival, but the defeat of Hitler-
ism and the reconstruction of a free, independent, and
Socialist Poland."
[Jews wanted a Socialist Poland and they got it after WW II. Below is
Palestine being claimed as a Socialist homeland as well!]
Page 361-2 "On May 1, 1941, Dror issued a proclamation
that avowed once more the movement's dual loyalty to
Palestine and socialism and which held out the hope of
the inevitable realization of a socialist Palestine:
The struggle with the Hitlerite conqueror has tem-
porarily separated us from Eretz Israel, but just as there
is no power in the world that can separate us from the
struggle for a socialist world, thus nothing can separate
us from the land of our ultimate hope. The building of
Eretz Israel is undeniably connected with the collapse
of capitalism; a socialist Eretz Israel will rise or fall
with the success or failure of socialism."
[For the Jews to succeed capitalism needs to collapse! Read
this over and over many times to let it sink in! Tavish]
Page 362 " At the end of December 1943, a representative
of the Left Labor Zionists, taking part in a clandestine
meeting of the underground Polish Communist front,
Krajowa Rada Narodowa [People's Home Council]
spoke of victory with the political certitude of her party:
In the struggle for a new world of labor and of social
justice, we are not isolated. The working masses of the
whole world, with the heroic Red Army in the van-
guard, are with us. Our struggle is their struggle; their
victory shall be our victory. There can be no return to
the past, no turning back to the past reactionary and
fascist governments. The working masses, the in-
vincible forces of progress and true democracy will
prevail in this historic struggle.

What does it say of a situation that a whole people would aid those who
were bombing their cities against their "fellow countrymen"? The Poles
must have really had some long pent up resentment toward Jews if they
"preferred" or chose Nazis over Jews. I guess this is just another example
of people hating socialism and being subject to it that they would see
their invaders as benefactors to the point of co-operating with them

Page 518 "..., [June 1940] the Soviet Union, having occupied half of
prewar Poland, demanded the cession of northern Bucovina and all of
Bessarabia, to which Rumania, on Germany's advice, promptly acceded.....
Rumanian armed forces joined German forces and
participated in the invasion of Russia in June 1941. Rumanian army units
and Rumanian police also took part in Einsatzgfuppe D. To
compensate for its other territorial losses, Rumania recaptured
Bucovina and Bessarabia from the Soviet Union and took also a portion of
south-western Ukraine..... In April 1944 the Red Army recaptured Bucovina,
Bessarabia, and Odessa...."
Under the section of Jews in Pre-war Rumania we read on page
519: "... among the denser in Bucovina and Bessarabia, Jews were
culturally separatist, with Yiddish as the predominant language..."
Note: Pertaining to Yiddish and the politics the book shows the
language connected with we see on page 341: "In Warsaw,
representatives of the diverse Jewish school networks ranging from the
traditionalist to the Zionist Hebraist and socialist Yiddishist...."
Continuing with Rumanians Nizkored, recap of events:
Page 520 reveals: "With the invasion of the Soviet Union and the recapture
of northern Bucovina and Bessarabia, unbridled plunder and murder of Jews
were authorized by the Rumanian army's high command. The first major
pogroms occurred in Iasi in June 1941,.... In and around Czernowitz
(Cernauti) and Storojinetz, 12,000 Jews were killed; in Bessarabia, over
200,000. Rumanian army units working with
Einsatzgruppe D in southern Russia dismayed the Germans with their passion
for killing and their disregard for disposal of the corpses."
[Imagine Lucy Dawidowicz actually saying that Rumanians dismayed the
Germans with their passion for killing! Why would these Rumanians be so
blood thirsty? What would drive them to do such as to dismay even the
Nazis? Perhaps they Nizkored what they had done to them by guess who.

Now for the answer as to why the Rumanians and others such as the
Latvians, Lithuanians, and Estonians as well as Ukrainians had such blood
thirsty desires.
On page 537 we see: "On June 28, 1940, Russia occupied Bessarabia and
north Bucovina, which Rumania had ceded to it under pressure. In July 1940
the three Baltic states [Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia] were incorporated
into the Soviet Union as individual republics and occupied by Russia.
RUSSIA'S HARSH POLICY AND THE DEPORTATIONS OF LARGE NUMBERS OF THE
POPULATION WHOM THE SOVIET LEADERS REGARDED AS POLITICAL
OPPONENTS INTENSIFIED POPULAR HOSTILITY TO RUSSIAN OCCUPATION AND RULE.
Consequently, in most areas from the Baltic north to the Ukrainian south,
which the Germans occupied following the invasion on June 22, 1941, they
[the Germans] were generally well received by the local populations."
[These people knew who the Soviets were beyond any doubt as shown again

Dawidowicz says on page 377: "Exploiting the superstitious
anti-Semitic prejudices of the Lithuanians, the Balts, and Ukrainians and
activating their accumulated hatred for the Soviets, the Germans harnessed
the violent energies of these willing collaborates to round up and kill
Jews."
I now ask: "How could the Ukrainians have been anti-Semitic toward the
Soviets, if the Soviets weren't in fact Jews?" Doc Tavish

A Jewish Approach to Communism
Still, Abarbanel's comments on the nature of Capitalism as evil must
make us think again about the typical Jewish reaction to Communism.
Since Marxism has often taken the form of an extremely G-dless
totalitarian tool, it has been easy to dismiss such an ideology as
something that Judaism could never embrace.
However, G-dlessness is not a necessary characteristic of Communism.
Communism can even be described as a moral alternative to the
material excesses of Capitalism. To cite a contemporary Jewish
example: there are many kibbutzim in Israel who live by the standards
of economic collectivism, while religious kibbutzim uphold the banner
of Jewish observance. On the other hand, many kibbutzim are not only
non-religious but even violently anti-religious, such as the
Shomer-Haztair movement. The fact that a community in Israel adopts
the kibbutz way of life does not force a person in either direction,
and the adoption of Communism is not necessarily linked to atheism
either...
... According to Capitalism, what led the Soviet Union to its final
collapse more than any other reason was the complete failure of its
economic system. ...The people could see that the ideals
of Marx had not been achieved, and were dissatisfied. So the Soviet
Union stagnated, whereas western materialism flourished- at least for
those empowered economically....

Lubavitch as a Socialist Collectivist System
The standard capitalist approach is vastly incomplete and even
un-Jewish because it assumes, as its basic premise, that people can
only be motivated by reason of material gain.

the fact that most people who have any power in the world are absolutely
enamoured with capitalism because it gives them just what they want.
Everybody in the west has a vested interest in the preservation of the

All of the above - particularly human nature. Communism can work on a
small scale (kibbutz in israel for example, where everyone agrees to
contribute to the community and the community gives them back what they
need) However, it does not work on a larger scale because human beings are
basically tribal and competitive. You can`t fight evolution.

How do you plan to succeed where so many others have failed?

useless, at least in regards to the west. It is true that the levels of
misery among workers in, for example, many parts of Asia are probably far
higher than in the more developed countries. But this is not the end of
the story. This is too big a subject for me to take on in the format of a
weekly response. I live in the "west".
Rather, I believe what blocks our way forward is in the "subjective realm"
(ie: factors relating to ideas, to people's consciousness). In particular,
the idea is nearly universal that the only alternative to eternal
capitalism is a permanent police state that will produce less wealth than
capitalism and attempt to extinguish all political life. Once this idea is
punctured (and it will be) -- then all the trees in the forest will
fall..."

When will non-Jews stop worshipping these anti-Christs and see them for what
they are? My admonition to all the lemmings who adore the Jews-- stop being a
blind dupe-- stop worshipping the anti-Christs who look down upon you and will
NEVER look upon you as equals! They have not changed-- you have changed. You
believe that there exists a Judeo-Christian unity but the Jew doesn't and never
has!
