using Outlook Express 5.00

I need to recover a lot of space on my c: drive and one thing killing my]
space is Outlook Express

1) I want to move all of my email and newsgroup
folders from my c: drive to my h: drive. What would I have to do in order to this? Would I have to worry about
updates to Internet Explorer resetting things back to my c: drive?

2) Separate concern: Can I archive OE5 files and folders and access them at a later time
without interferring with current material.

3) Separate concern: Down the road, when I purchase another computer will I be able to transfer
my OE5 files and folders to to. I image once items 1 and 2 are answered this
one is automatic. but I really don't want my personal files maintained together
with system software, nor application software either.

For that matter I don't want my browser cache maintained on any the above, not
with my software, and not with my data.

TIA,
David McRitchie

OE, tools menu, options, Maintenance Tab, "Store Folder" button will allow moving the message store.

Have a look at Steve C's site for backups, etc.
