KO|+ pa...@titan.ucs.umass.edu I left my heart in Pittsburgh...

I think I will have my Sat & Sun morning free now. Without Jordan, NBA
isn't that attractive to me.
George
I do really want to hear the song: "Sometimes I dream that he's me...
Like Mike, I wanna be like Mike!!..." again.
I was so surprised by his announcement about his "retirement" cos'
he is a good example for us to learn how to fight for achieving a goal and
how to prove ourselves...though he made mistakes sometimes, he is a human.
Michael, why don't try to fight for just one more year, try to get
the 4th NBA champion,....to the level that no one would or will be able to
achieve?

well, come to think about it, there is not much left for him to do in NBA.
he has proven everything you can imagine. and by retiring early, at least
his greatness will remain in tact. i think larry bird should have retired
two years earlier so i don't need to recall those lousy years at the end of
his career. my hope for jordan is that he will remain a dignified man and
contribute to the society in many other ways.

Sorry, I thought Larry Bird had 3 NBA champ rings but Magic had 5.
Could anyone confirm please?
My second point to make is there's always a mountain in NBA for any
player to climb. The 4th NBA champ would be the obvious one for Air, after
the 4th, then the 5th and so on.

I think that even though I am sad that Michael Jordan is not going to
play basketball anymore, I do agree with you that be retiring early,
his legend will still go on. At least we will always remember him as
he was in his prime. Kind of like Greta Garbo I guess.

Do you think that Micheal will come back this coming season? A lot of my
friends think that he can't stay away.
