I have a Win XP Pro notebook that had files on a network
drive "made available offline" the user was away with the
notebook and the server hosting the network share crashed
and was replaced with a new server (with a different name).

The client now tries to synchronise with the non-existant
server as it has changed files to upload.

What is the correct method to remove references to the non-
existant server.

thanks
Brad

Before you do this, make sure that you have synced any offline files
that you want to keep (the following steps reinitializes the cache):

Open up Windows Explorer
Click on the Tools menu and then Folder Options...
Click on the Offline Files tab
Hold down the <Ctrl> and <Shift> keys together while clicking on the
delete Files button
Click the Yes button to confirm you want to reinitialize the database
Click the Yes button to restart your computer
