Hi,
I read the docs and the faq, but i did not find an answer. I installed
apache succesfully as described. I unpacked php4b4pl1 and run configure.
Then the following error occures: checking lex output file root....
./configure:lex command not found. The operation then is aborted. Where is
my mistake???

also be sure you have glibc-devel*.rpm installed
I kept track of what I did to get apache/php/mysql installed here:
http://www.nthwave.net/LearningLinux/
(It's a bit rough, so may or may not be helpful.)
Good Luck.
