I need a 256MB card, and from everywhere I've looked, sandisk are not very
reliable. I've been searching EVERYWHERE for a Panasonic SD card, but noone
seems to sell them. Theres a couple on the american E-bay site, but I don't
want to end up paying import tax. Does anyone know anywhere in the UK where
I can buy a 256Mb PANASONIC SD card? I can find around 3 other makes on a
range of sites, but noone has panasonic.
Everyone seems to recommend panasonic cards over any others - I got a 16mb
panasonic card with my camera, but that size is pretty useless.
Thanks,
Daniel.
If there is anything it would be a batch thing. And the
second or third sort it would require to ensure any kind
of "quality" assured consistency would drive the prices
of that particular card *way* *way* up.
Anyway if you feel good about Panasonic that's the important
thing. I recommend trying www.panasonic.co.uk or .com
and then looking for a list of "suggested" retail outlets.
BTW, I'm pretty sure Panasonic is not a memory card OEM
but rather a VAR using parts from other manufacturers.
I /could/ totally be wrong about that though. It's just
my *guess* from working inside Machusta (Panasonic) here
in Japan.
