A semi-regular on one newsgroup could look suspicious if he cross-posts
to others, I suppose. Or maybe only to those of a suspicious turn of

This is all the evidence I need to know that this was not a troll. A
real troll (at least, the commercial kind, which is what this would have
been) would never read the newsgroup and post a reply.
