Just today, I spoke with a few of my Linux buddies, and they turned me
on to www.dyndns.org, who host free DynamicDNS (it's been mentioned
before, but I totally forgot about it). Now, ftp users can use:

ftp://tessai.kicks-ass.net (NEVER EVER USE A WEB BROWSER!!!)

to connect to the ftp instead of trying to remember my ip number. ^_^

Pen^3 and others should update their FAQs. I'll try to make sure this
name remains mine. Thanks guys.

Uh, just cause I'm stupid, why wouldn't you use a browser?

Because it opens two connections.

Gotcha! And that is bad! BAD!

Which reminds me. I sent you an email! You get it?

I meant Tessai, not you!

Not only does it open (well, try to open) two connections. It tries to
open a connection for every window that you have open viewing that
site, as well as one connection for every other file downloading. For
example, if you have 1 window open for my ftp server, and you try to
download 3 files (at once), your browser will try to have 3
connections to the server. This is why browsers (especially IE) are
extremely useless for anything other than anonymous FTP access (since
anonymous FTP servers will sometimes allow multiple logins).

Yeah, I got your email... I already replied.

Now here's something I just had to post:

The Firewall has blocked a connection attempt made to
24.126.86.127:666 from 68.80.233.254:1621, protocol: TCP. Known virus
to attack on this port: Attack FTP, Back Construction, Cain & Abel,
NokNok, Satans Back Door - SBD, ServU, Shadow Phyre

Of course, it should be obvious that this is from my firewall. The
most common connection attempts are on ports:

80, 8080, 1080, 111, 27374, 8081, 6667, 23, and 81.

As you can see, people are always scanning me for holes, or trying to
see if I have a trojan running. This is why I ask for people to set
retry attempts to more than 30 seconds (45 seconds at least).
