OMG this is pathetic! Not only is that a total rip off but he uses a
crappy pic of Rei in nothing that we see her in in the series in front of
a live background! I detest those pics. I once watched a show that had
cartoon animals talking in it. It was one of those times were your brain
just stops dead in it's tracks at the hideous reality it sees before it,
unable to move or do anything to defend itself.
Next, the name is around the wrong way, it should be rayanami not reia.
The east may turn the names around when yer talking but a family name is
still a family name no matter where you are in the world.

It comes from Newtype, actually.
I don't care if it comes from Da'vinchi(spelling most likely WAY off), I
don't like it, it's creepy!
A mail address can look like its owner wants it to look. Right,
D. Isaster (Well, not even the D is right according to the whois
information of your domain, but never mind)?
But: I'd not want to have this address and would like 'rayanami' much
more. Or just 'rei' - but not 'reia'.

Gee, another whois that didn't work eh? The email is my domain, not my
server.
I whois-ed 'disfanfic.net' and it showed the same results as your
profile on the site - no, not really, your middle name is missing on
whois!
Okay, I promise you that Michael is my real middle name! Honest! :P
So I been like meaning to figure out where and how to do those damn whois
queries. I had a site that did them for you like ages ago but god knows
where that link has gone! Any help?
Of course I believe you - it's the same as in your profile, and since
Disaster is always right...
And why should anyone be hones with first and surname but lie about the
middle name? If I don't like others to know my middle name (it's Erwin),
I just leave it out. Oops, now I wrote it...

I have a tool called whois. I open a command line and just type
whois disfanfic.net
and get the whole bunch of information.
I just googled and found this application for Windows:
http://www.resource-a-day.net/resources/whois/whois.exe
At least on my computer (in the Windows emulator), it works fine.
hmm I see that I have yet to update my address and all. My god that email
is sooooooooooo old!

As well as those applications mentioned, web-interface searches I find
useful:
http://www.internic.net/whois.html
http://www.netsol.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois
http://www.arin.net/
Some OS have "nslookup" built in as well, sometimes useful.

Actually that small program that Rudolf provided works nicely.
