We can see that despite the augmentation offered in the breast
department by the solid chest-plates of Asuka's plugsuit, Rei's boobs
are still much fuller, rounder and heavier (covered only by the fabric
of her suit).
As this is a well-drawn scene which the camera lingers on for some
time (heh, wonder why? ^_^), I'd go as far as to say that this is
FINAL AND CONCLUSIVE PROOF that Hideaki Anno and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto
intended for Rei to be bustier than Asuka.

Ya know, most of my friends are women, and I don't know a single one of them

I'd like to point out that Rei's breasts are not "covered only by the
fabric of her suit" but also but the bandages underneath it which are
clearly seen in one of the pics.
U should put it on your cerial or in your coffee, or drink it stright from

32 posts in a single thread. That's a very new definition of
'swamped'. :)
My 'irrelevant crap' is actually more on topic for UMAA than the
irrelevant, thread-killing 'banter' posted by a number of 'regulars'

Certainly. However, the discussion of the relative size of an artificial
being's mammories crossposted over three groups like this is not
specifically a UK matter. It is therefore off topic, since general
conversation about such matters belongs on a miscellaneous group, not a
specialist group. While this means that a crossposting to raam is possibly
a reasonable thing, a further crossposting to umaa is not.

It is a discussion based upon characters from a popular anime series
which has been released in the UK and which may be of interest to UK
anime fans.
>Let's face it, you only do it because you know it annoys the natives...
Not at all. I was merely following up (with new information) to a
previous thread which had been crossposted to the above three groups
and in which many of the replies came from UMAA. I couldn't care less
for the opinion of the handful of people who have taken it upon
themselves to speak for the group. I do not believe that I have broken
any rules.

I don't goto your group, so I haven't read the charter. Besides, hasn't
NGE been released in the UK?
It has.
The problem is that the charter clearly states that UMAA is supposed to
only be about the status of anime as it concerns the UK. It is not meant
to be an automatic crosspost target for anything and everything that crops
up on raam or any other group. This is something that is being
conveniently ignored by PPV and his cronies purely because it seems like a
good idea to wind up the regulars.
The charter for UMAA is freely available, for example at

Consider these facts, Mr. Chika & Mr. Stuart Dawson, as I'm going to
spell it out for you. Neon Genesis Evangelion is an animated series
produced in Japan, so that makes it of the genre Anime. The newsgroup
UMAA is a anime discussion group for the United Kingdom, just like RAAM
is for the United States. NGE has been released in the UK just as it
has been released in the US. So, with that in mind, discussion about a
particular character in a particular anime which has been released in
said contries in said anime discussion groups is very much a relevent
discussion weather you two agree with it or not. Now, if you do not
like the discussion, you can always mark the ignore thread flag in your
newsreader and you will not be bothered by it any more. Some of us
otakus on both sides of the pond might actually be interested in said
topic. Oh, and one more thing: The crosspost to the JAE group is most
definately on-topic because it's SPECIFICALLY for Evangelion.

Maybe. If you really want to be killfiled, I have no problem with that.

In which case there is nothing stopping them subscribing to raam or jae.

Which seems to be "We don't personally like what this guy talks about,
so we'll call him names and accuse him of being a troll."
Like it or not, the discussion of anime characters from a series which
has been released in the UK is on topic for UMAA in accordance with
the charter, for the reasons myself and Daniel have outlined. You are
of course entitled to interpret the charter in any way you see fit,
but I am just as entitled to disagree with you.
As much as you'd like it to be so, UMAA is not sacred ground. It's a
public forum in which topics may be discussed that may not be to your
personal taste. Neither yourself, Stuart Dawson, or any of the other
UMAA regs is in any position to speak for, nor dictate the rules for
an unmoderated public forum.
Now, I don't want to fall out with anyone over this, or have the
discussion descend into a stupid flame-war, but I am not prepared to
be dictated to by people who have no authority over me.

It's certainly relevant because it's anime but as I've already said
the charter for umaa did state that the group was not intended for
duplication of material from raa*. It would be good netiquette of you
to follow this.
Well, the only problem that some people are having is that things
are being cross-posted. To fix this, if anyone wants to cross-post, please
post something in one group, copy and paste and post the same thread into
another group, there-by making the few people who like to through a fit
happy, and adhering to their charter. They can't complain about this
because their only complaint is that this is being cross-posted. They've
already agreed that it is relevant, it is anime, and it is released in the
US, UK, and JAPAN. So in closing, all I have to say is... Mmm..

Hey. Get out more.
there's no objection to the method you suggest here, that way any pointless
threads about who has the bigger tits (hint: it's neither, they're both
2-dimensional representations of humans, HTH) can be safely ignored without
turning into big bloated fanboy masturbation frenzies like this one.

Methinks you're a twat. The reason for the crossposting is because no-one
knows which of the other newsgroups you and your scary friends originate
from, so to be sure to get the message across, a crosspost has to be
employed. how about you all go back and play in your side of the sandpit and
we'll stay in ours.

I understand that it generally does not duplicate the content, because
they are two different groups. That is just common sense. I was
pointing out that the topic was anime related. Seriously though, why do
you think that this isn't an on topic topic in UMAA?

A crosspost is a crosspost, no matter how you do it. Such a method isn't
likely to fool anyone since more than one of us posts to more than one of
said groups.

The complaint is more than just about crossposting, as you would have
realised if you read the thread properly.

Sorry to contradict, but we are all very much aware of which group they
originate from.
And since when are twats scary? O.o

... Reality is for people who can't handle computers.
Well, first off. You personally can't own a thread let along a NG, so I
don't have to get off of YOUR INTERNET!. Secondly, everyone knows where
you're from, because you guys keep complaining about the UK NG, so you don't
have to cross-post. All you have to do is post to our newsgroup and we'd
get the message. Cross-posting, is cross-posting, is cross-posting. You're
breaking your own charter by cross-posting no matter what your reason is,
therefore making yourself, as you love to call everyone not in the UK, A
WANKER! So stop whining, stop being a martyr, and get over it.
Spreading the love like jam... All over your buns.

Never said i did o.o would you like to re-read what i wrote, perhaps maybe
underlining the location i said "UMAA IS MINE!" or whatever it was you
imagine i said? nice bit of hysteria, by the way.

Yes, now, once again, please re-read what i wrote and pay attention this
time. which newsgroup are you in? that was the point, and why crossposting
is being used. Do You See? The fact that all it would take is one
non-crossposted message to your newsgroup to make this stupidity stop does
highlight the fact that you know you're trolling. frankly, i don't care. but
i'm trying to have a bit of consideration for the other people who reside in
UMAA. i'm sure you know what consideration is... oh, wait, maybe you don't

I'm not the one presuming everyone in the UK calls me a wanker when my back
is turned. Now that's martyrdom. and paranoia. I don't think you're a
wanker, I think you're a twat. and it's absolutely nothing to do with you
being an american. And a charter is not a law, merely a strongly recommended
way of behaving that I normally abide by, but if a few crossposts is what it
takes to make you fuck off and stop bothering us, i'm prepared to catch the
shit from my peers. i promise i'll stop crossposting to you, if you stop
crossposting to UMAA.
