My brother-in law recently quit cold turkey. A piece of heavy machinery fell
on his leg breaking the lower leg bone in three differently places. He was
stuck in a hospital bed for a month. When he finally got out of the bed, he
figured that going a month without smoking shouldn't be wasted by heading
immediately to the smoking room of the hospital.
Now my wife is ragging on me about smoking. I told her I'll quit when I get
bolted to a hospital bed for a month.
