I have a 128 Meg compact flash chip & Lexar reader connected to my computer
but any time I plug in the chip in, my computer the system crashes. The
reader works with other chips that I have with no problem. I'm assuming the
chip is bad. Is there any help for it? Can these chips be reformatted?
(I don't have a camera yet)

The problem is that anytime I even high light the chip, my computer locks up
completely. (running Win 98) I really think the chip is shot.
