I am not the soul of an incredibly ancient creature
transferred into a teenage body cloned from a dead
(sort of) woman.
Rei spends much of the series apparently unable to
understand the disconnent she feels inside: An AC soul
stuck in a DC body. It's only in her final incarnation,
when as Rei III she learns about herself, that she
concludes she is not a doll.
