One source of much amusement during our stay in the Philippines is that
everyone assumed my wife was filipina. I'm sure that got us some cheap
prices a few times, but on the other hand some people probably thought she
was uppity when she wouldn't talk to them in Tagalog.
To those of you who are thinking of visiting Boracay, I would definitely
recommend against it. The prices are high, people unfriendly, beaches crap,
and food is horrible. Plus it is packed with Japanese. Stay away from
Boracay if you can help it.

Okay....I'm a bit confused. You seem to say at first that the beaches
at Boracay were pretty good. Yet you later say the beachers were
crap. OR......were you just being sarcastic in the first sentence.
BTW....for those of you who are thinking about going to Manila anytime
soon.....forget about it. They seem to be having a mini-coup right
now.

You don't suppose he was just trying to discourage other people from
spoiling his new-found paradise?

In his case, it's a euphemism for masturbation.
