The House handed a narrow defeat Thursday to conservatives who wanted to
forbid the National Institutes of Health from giving grants to researchers
conducting four sexual research projects, including studies of older men and
of San Francisco's Asian prostitutes and masseuses.
[...]
According to Toomey's office, the grants and their estimated cost next year
are:
- Mood arousal and sexual risk taking, $237,000, conducted by the Kinsey
Institute at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
- Sexual habits of older men, $69,000, at New England Research Institutes
Inc. in Watertown, Mass.
- Drug use and HIV-related behavior by San Francisco's Asian
prostitutes/masseuses, $641,000, University of California-San Francisco's
Department of Medicine.
- American Indian and Alaskan Native lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered
and "two-spirited individuals,'' $500,000, University of Washington in
Seattle.
I seem to recall a part of the Federalist Papers calling for the creation of
a federal agency to study gay Eskimos and Oriental whores.

me. Like millions of other working people, I would have put that money right
back into the economy."

You have to also take into account that in Bloomington, Indiana
"sexual risk taking" means humping farm animals in view of the road
instead of inside the barn.

Back off, jack! I approve of this one. Every time the sun comes up I'm
one day closer to joining those old bastards. I'd like to know what I
have to look forward to (or dread, such as the case may be).

Does the Bureau of Indian Affairs pay for sex change operations for
these people?

It's in the Constitution somewhere. It must be, otherwise surely the
federal government wouldn't be spending money on it.

No clue. The closest I let myself get to Sodom Francisco is Noodle-Roni.
Don't want to run into Arie L. Bleicher.

I want to know what the hell a two-spirited individual is. Does that mean a
person who goes into the smoke lodge on a vision quest and is confronted by
the spirit of a bear *and* an eagle?

The Eskimo Lesbian Clause was the main subject of the final exam in Con Law.

As your senior by a few years, I feel that I can safely forecast the sex
(har!) life of your golden years.
You might notice that you have already undergone extensive sex drive therapy
by being married to a Japanese woman. Extensive testing in the field of
sensory deprivation have provided Japanese wives with a comprehensive
understanding of the male sex drive, and they have concluded that the
unfortunate side effects of the male sex drive can only be treated using a
self-induced repetitive manual organ pressure treatment program.
