Would be too much hassle to use my news.cfs.dfn.de here. Using Google,
with spotty coverage. Don't even have broadband.
Take care.
Have a blast. Find out about that house for me, ok?

"It hurts when my 8-year-old daughter wants to go to the movies or even
have a meal at McDonald's and I have to say, 'No, Mommy can't afford
it.' If I had gotten a tax cut, I would spend it on the mountain of
bills that face me. Like millions of other working people, I would have
put that money right back into the economy."
- Margaret Gaffin, who does not understand that to be eligible for a
tax cut, one must pay taxes
Take care,
Hey, I feel for you Man! Try not to let that bother you too much while
you're lying out on the beach soaking up the sun.

The car still leaks oil. The air conditioner is crappy. The brakes
squeal. The engine makes clanking sounds at a certain rpm range. The
front passenger window is stuck. The defroster on the 20+ year old
refrigerator broke down just this week, and all the food spoiled when
a solid wall of ice formed in back, but it's fixed now. Most of the
beautiful 12+ windbreak mock orange bushes used as a perimeter in the
garden have been cut down to 4 feet, and the wild passion fruit
bearing vines that grew on them are also mostly gone. Nearly half the
banana trees have been cleared. The pineapples (planted from tops when
I was a child) have borne fruit, the first time I've seen them do so
all together, the size and shape of softballs. Despite it being
summer, it is apparently not a good fruit season for the house. Just
three guavas today. The avocados are undersized. There are few
pineapples and mangoes, but only the bananas are doing well. They tell
me the weather is wet this summer, and despite it not being as hot as
back home, it feels as muggy. Night is however, very cool and windy (I
live across the highway from a mountain range). The mold and mildew do
not seem to be as bad as when I last came back in November when it was
cooler.
It seems Amazon has screwed up on me for the first time, as an order
supposedly sent months ago for me to pick up here, has not been
received.
Weirdest thing is it feels like I never left.
