An old friend called me and asked if I knew of a software
like "InternetWasher" in Japanese. His girlfriend is not very
computer-literate and does not want to fiddle around with the operating
system, and her English is very limited.
Can somebody recommend the name of a Japanese software which does the same
(cleaning history, cookies, temp files, etc. in one go).

Thanks,
Sigi

how about using the Japanese version of Mozilla (or Firefox) with the
"Preferences Toolbar" extension? I'm not sure whether the latter one
is also available in Japanese, but if your friend sets it up for her
she just has to remember one single button.

Presumably, if the boyfriend were physically present in Japan he would
just go over and do all that stuff for her. The problem seems to be
that it must be something she can install and operate solo.

Maybe the boyfriend *IS* physically present - and that's the reason
for needing to cover up the tracks all by herself?
