Can anyone translate the text on there? From the screenshots [rei in the
beige waistcoat thing, kaoru being buddy buddy with everyone], it
looks like its set in the alternative reality bit from TV episode 26, which
could make it *very* interesting, as it wouldn't be hamstrung by the series'
continuity and could be a soley-character based RPG.

This suggests that it is in fact the alternate reality from the last ep.
Also, if you look at the screenshots I think that confirms it.
(Keep in mind babelfish refers to:
Shinji as 'Thin G'
Asuka as 'ground mosquito'
Rei as 'Ray'
Touji as 'Tow G'
(I think. Translate with babelfish and decide for yourself))

on the site (http://www.gainax.co.jp/soft/koutetsu2/index.html) it says the
release date is May 16th of 2003, for Japan I presume.

Aww, I hope they do an english translation. Maybe they will, what with
Eva on Cartoon Network in the US?
