I love Eva... it's just so awesome.
Here are some new series you might like/be interested in
Noir(soon on dvd from advfilms)
Chobits(not sure who is releasing this)
Robotech(ok so it's not new...but it's still pretty awesome)
There are a lot of series that are as good as NGE. Noir is worth a look. It's
just recently been released. Cowboy Bebop is fantastic. Berserk is one of my
faves as well as Trigun and Helsing. If one of these series doesn't get and
hold your interest...well...I would guess that there might be another issue as
to why nothing else is interesting.
any fool can make a rule, and every fool will follow it
don't be a fool!!!
Take a look at both Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars.
Both have deep personal stories and lots of technobable: They regularly get
compared to Star Trek. COTS available in full, BOTS Vol. 1 available, Vol 2
comming soon. From Bandai! Also try Escaflowne, also from Bandai!

Two thumbs WAY way up!
Its good, its definitely good. But there's plenty of stuff out there to move
on to.

If you like your mechs, try anything from the Gundam franchise - Gundam Wing
(yeah I know its AC etc etc) is a good short intro, even though it doesn't
really compare to UC Gundam stuff. Cowboy Bebop you have to see.. its just
that good. Love Hina's 'bout the funniest thing I've seen in a long time,
followed closely by Burn-Up... someone mentioned Hellsing, which is really
stylish in its own little way. Full Metal Panic is one of the newer ones..
its a bit brainless at times, but still enjoyable if you like your mecha=)
As for Escaflowne.. <looks at Vaughn>.. well it started off well, but they
lost a lot of faith when it came to the "intensified luck soldiers".
Seriously. That's just stupid.^-^

Well, what do you expect when you combine a TARDIS with an Infinite
Improbability Drive?

Also, Sir Issac Newton becoming a
megalomaniac
only works if you know he died of Syphillis.
Should I be worried that I know both of those references without even
jogging my memory.
In a word: YES!
Ever heard of a game show called "Beat the Geeks"?
Vaughn L.Porter
They need a special guest Evangelion Geek
No, i haven't heard of the show. What country does it show in?
I susspect we'd have to settle for a general verity anime geek ep.
It runs on Comedy Central, here in the US. They have a Movie Geek, A Music
Geek, A TV Geek, and a special guest Geek (Star Trek, Star Wars, Comic Book,
Friends, etc) Even the host is a geek. They DO have a hot chick, though, who
seems to go for geeks (of course, she might just be paid well.)

I know it's 'old' but Space Battleship Yamato, preferably subtitled, is
my current suggestion.
I've been into it for a while now and was truly amazed at quite how
*moving* that old series really is! :D
Best thing I've seen since I finished Eva!
