(Has a mental image of Keel et al clustered around Shinji kicking
and hitting.
Has a further image of Asuka leaping into the midst of these
out of shape, physically inept old men and kicking the crap
out of all of them for daring to hurt HER Shinji without her
permission.)

hee hee. Speaking of car keys did anyone else listen to the audio
commentry on the DVD? I thought that was pretty funny.

hee hee. Shame I'm the only anime fan I know - I'd pass the comment
around but no one would know what I'm talking about.

Hmmmm, shame Rei turns out the way she did... I thought she was pretty
hot and I was kinda hoping Shinji and her would get together... So was
she actually a clone of Yuri, or did she just used her shape?
anyways question - I've seen some pics of this character called "Iron
Maiden" floating around. Who is she?
<=[BC]=>
I think that, from what I've read, Iron Maiden was the PC game released by
Gainax about 4 years ago about the time before Asuka got mind-raped by
Areal, about Shinjii having this girlfriend. (the Iron Maiden)
SAM
She did have some of Yui's DNA, but I don't believe she was a direct clone.
I believe she had some Angel DNA as well.

It's the title of a video game, also known as "Koutetsu no Girlfriend" or
"Steel Girlfriend." I know there was a page around with a synopsis, but I
can't seem to find it now.. There's a large number of picture here:
http://www.animeinn.com/gallery/E/evangelion/pages/ova/index.shtml
Basically, the give Shinji and girlfriend with a storyline. ^_^;;

Gendo: I think my car keys are in here somewhere...
Aoba: So this is the Eva graveyard, where rednecks can come in with
their tools and build their own giant robot?
*grin*

You're looking at a member of the Megumi Hayashibara fan club, and yet I
couldn't find myself "liking" Rei nearly as much as Asuka, Misato or
heck, even Ritsuko! Maybe cause I'm thinking of her playing characters
like Ranma-chan and Lina Inverse more... mmmmm.. *ahem*!
> anyways question - I've seen some pics of this character called "Iron

That's the literal Japanese translation of a game Gainax made called
"Girlfriend of Steel". The character in question's name is actually Mana
Kirishima, and she was more then a bit of a love interest for Shinji in
the title (which results in interesting reactions from everybody in the
main cast). The games are thus considered sidestories to the main
series, and aren't "part" of it, per se, but rather another view on what
COULD happen within the Evangelion world. Prior to it ending in EoE,
that is. ;P
More info is at Gainax's page on the (Collector's Edition version) of
the game:
http://www.gainax.co.jp/soft/koutetsucol/index-e.html
http://www.gainax.co.jp/soft/koutetsucol/contents/index-e.html
Basically, if you've ever played one of those "dating sim" games that
are popular in Japan, then you know what kind of gameplay to expect from
this title.

oh... when I first saw the pics of her I thought she was gonna be in "The
End of Eva", or maybe a new series... So I guess "NGE2" is NOT coming out
then?
<=[BC]=>
Most likely not unless you get Anno back from doing live-action
productions and there was a tremendous urging to do so within as well as
outside Gainax.. But really, some things should never have sequels..
Sidestories on the other hand, or alternate universes would be perfectly
acceptable. :)
I don't know about Anno, but /I/ wouldn't want to revisit a series that was
merely a response to my major depression...

A sequal probably would stuff it up. But a prequel would be interesting.
<=[BC]=>
Where can you find the PC version of the game?
Buy it from Gainax for some yen. ;P
We'll probably see a sequel to Soap or Twin Peaks before we see an EVA
sequel.

So when will we see Shinji in Tokyo and Shinji Muyo Ryo-Ohki? ;-)

Those would be funny. But we'd need to invent more female characters.
