Watch it a few more times.. in Japanese (if you watched it in English)
or vice-versa. Make sure ya listen to the director's commentary as well;
it's rather informative when it's not being silly. :)

Actually if you want to understand Eva then I suggest then you
do _not_ listen to the commentary. It is full of misinformation.
